Thunder09ParticipantRumor Mill online has it that the Thunder are Fixated on Currey as a SG. Chances the Thunder could Move Down in the Draft to Acquire Him and possible another 1st Round Pick?

nikeduck24ParticipantI have also heard Portland wanting to move up to grab him also.

auberParticipantWhy is this guy sky rocketing? His team didn’t make the NCAA tournament last year. I think top ten is even a little too high on him, but 3rd overall. Give me a break.

TONYDABOSS77Participanti could see that . .
thunder trade the 3rd pick to the wolves for the 6th && 18th picks . .the thunder could get stephen curry && terrence williams ( earl clark’s projected by this site to be available at 18 too but i doubt it but if he is i pick clark )0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/04/2009 - 4:49pm #156823

nikeduck24Participanthe played for DAVIDSON! Auber give him a break, he had no talent behind him. He can’t do everything for them. He outscored an ENTIRE team in one half.

Thunder09Participanti agree with niceduck24. he didnt have much of a surrounding cast. think of what he could do with Westbrook at point Durant at 2 spot, nenad and collison down low. he may be a missin piece to the thunders puzzle

nikeduck24ParticipantOne thing i disagree with is you can’t put Curry at the 3. Hes way to small. Hes only 6-3, 180.

nikeduck24ParticipantMAYBE Durant at the 3. But again, he is way to skinny to compete with a decent 3.

You can’t hold Davidson not getting into the NCAA tourney against him. What other player in this draft faced triple teams during their season?0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/04/2009 - 6:17pm #156873
ucantcheckmejdj3ParticipantCurry on OKC would be fun to watch

gwh21Participantum…when durant was moved to the 3 after carlisimo got fired…thats when he really took off last season. but i still think they take harden at 3…but if they trade down with minni and then get him i say that is a very good pickup

Appleby_15ParticipantI’ve read that Durant is hitting this offseason and has a goal to put on 10-15 pounds of muscle, which would give him plenty of stength to play the 3 and maybe spend a little time at the 4. Either way, if you have Jeff Green and KD as your two forwards I think that gives you enough size and strength to compete on the glass and defense.

thegift1236ParticipantI would rather have Harden over Curry, he can be an allright one but I remember last year when OKC was supposed to get Bayless, a 6-3 combo with a small wingspan, I would say Bayless was better than Curry so I don’t see why they would get Curry now, and for Portland trading up it seems funny in a Nate McMillian system they keep getting scoring pgs that don’t play great d, he will ride the bench too, they would benefit more from drafting a smart pg around their pick because all they really need is someone who is efficient…and hell yea Durant can play 3, 6-10, 7-5 wingspan, Tayshaun has been second team all defense the last 4 years in a row up to this year…he is just developing.

auberParticipantHe’s a tweaner. I don’t know if his draft hype will ever amount to the type of point guard he may or may not become at the next level. I’m not sold on him and would much rather take a shot on Johnny Flynn or Brandon Jennings at 6. If He’s a top 5 pick he will be a bust and he’ll never live up to the pressure. In the right system he can be a very effective player, but that system isn’t Minnesota or Golden State. It’s New York coming off the bench.
I guess it just blows my mind that Stephen Curry is some super prospect in this draft. I’m not saying Thabeet or Harden are going to be better at #3, but They are the smarter choices. Anybody who takes this guy in the top 5 will regret it.
