cargathusParticipantI’m sure this has been brought up before, but after watching Steph Curry destroy another team again (14 points, 13 boards, 16 assists, 1 steal) I have to say he might be the most skilled offensive player in the NBA. His handles have come a ridiculously long way, and his overall game in addition to his scoring prowess has advanced so much since he came into the league (mainly court vision and defense is even considered OK at this point)…Is it safe to say he is one of the league leaders in just pure basketball offensive talent?
Note: I’m not trying to say hes the best offensive player, I believe that belongs to Durantula. But rather i’m saying Steph’s skill level on the offensive side of the court is the best.

Wavy BagelsParticipantCurry’s the best shooter. When he throws a shot, I always think it’s going in.

B-ball fanParticipantI completely agree. Best guard in the league at isos, best jump shot in league history, absolutely sick handles, abusurd production despite being the least physically gifted all-star caliber player in the league, tremendous passer, and a creative finisher at the rim. His weaknesses are pretty much all a product of his lack of strength and athleticism.
Chris Paul is probably his biggest competitor, but Curry is an even better shooter and his ball handling is even mor impressive when you consider his lack of strength and explosiveness. You could make an argument for either, though.

Too coolParticipantCouldn’t agree more. Hes not the best scorer in the league, but man this dude is the most skilled basketball player. Only thing I’d knock on him is his lousy turnovers every now and then. I wish he took care of the ball more.

i’m jus so offendedParticipantSteph and Durant for me. Hard to pick between the two. Steph has the handles and better shot but Durant has a better post and driving game

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantLeBron
Not only can LeBron average 8 assists per game, hell, I’m sure he could average 10 if he wanted to but he also has an array of moves.
He can post up, drive the lane, layup, dunk, hit the mid-range jumper, get to the line and is shooting 40% from the 3PT line on over three attempts per game this season. He’s also shooting nearly 60% from the field.
There is nothing Curry or Durant can do that LeBron cannot but there is a lot that LeBron can do that Curry and Durant cannot.
Not only is he more efficient, but he takes care of the ball much better than Curry and Durant as well.

Mr. ChicagoParticipantLebron without question. He has been simply dominant this year. His efficiency numbers this year are ridiculous. It is scary that he keeps getting better.
