HitsterParticipantSteph Curry MVP is within 10 successful 3 pointers of the record he set only last season with well over 20 games to go in the regular season Steph could well put the single season 3 point record out of sight.
He will easily pass 300 and most likely 350 with 400 an outside bet as he may be rested for some of the run in games with the play off birth secured or at least play reduced minutes.
Steph seems to have over the last couple of seasons gone from being a very good All Star level player, to franchise level, to superstar to arguably a leading contender to be considered as the best player in the NBA. Like a lot of people I’m a huge fan of LBJ and KD but IMO Curry deserves to be mentioned at the same top table as them especially if as seems likely he retains his MVP title and especially if GSW retain annd get close to the all time regular season best of MJ’s Bulls.

lalailaParticipantHe is amazing and I have no explains about his improvements.
How in the world from already being the best shooter in the league and maybe all time you can improve that to break your our NBA record is like nothing
Last year some people went crazy that he could get 300 three pointers, now he is on the pace to get around 400.
Are you serious?

XYRYXParticipantDidn’t he also break or tie Korvers record he eclipsed last season for consecutive games with a made 3 pointer? I think I saw a few days ago he was one game shy for the tie.
He is just a phenom and we won’t see too many players down the road who once scored 5 3pters per game like he does and scores 15ppg on 3s alone.

TWILL123ParticipantI personally do not think that Steph should be mentioned in the same category as Lebron and KD. Not because he is behind them, but I think he is now a whole tier ahead of them, by his lonesome. A player like Steph has never existed before in the NBA and most likely never will ever again, he is that ridiculous. Also, don’t sleep on Russell Westbrook. I think he may quietly be passing both Lebron and KD as well. The kid is averaging 24.5 pts 10 assists and over 7 boards a game. Pretty damn impressive.

SpacegrassParticipantWestbrook is the only other guard that I think can neutralize Curry some on both ends of the court on a given night. I am looking very much forward to tonight and the game next week against OKC. I think it’s going to be OKC and GSW in the WCF. OKC is a bad matchup for SA and the best equipped to deal with GSW. But still can’t see Westbrook being able to keep Curry down long enough to win a 7 game series.

SpacegrassParticipantCurry is shooting 35-52 .673% between 28-50 ft on shots this season. There has never been someone with this kind of range and accuracy. And it’s range and accuracy off the catch or off the dribble.
