46 points with 5 mins remaining in the game…

I remember how badly the knicks fans wanted Curry when they drafted Jordan Hill….

We also passed on Jennings, Jrue, Ty lawson, and Jeff Teague. I’ll never let that draft go.

I’m hoping he gets the double-double as well plus the W most importantly.

Love the kid. That jumper is Gus Johnson pure. I was really rooting for him out of Davidson but I didn’t think he’d be this good so soon. I thought he’d be a sixth man gunner with better passing skills but damn. You have to remember too, the Knicks and D’Antoni really wanted Steph but GState took him the pick before them and they ended up with Jordan Hill I believe. Whomp whomp

Also gotta love it when big time players show out at MSG. Unreal. He can do all things…

When I get SO mad that the Wolves didn’t draft him instead of Jonny Freaking Flynn…what a backcourt he and Rubio would be…

Hindsight is 20/20… But the Wolves could’ve been a top team in the West if they actually drafted even decently. They could’ve had Steph, DMC or Paul George in consecutive years… They could have an unreal team stacked with talent. Instead… Well… Its they’re the Wolves instead.

Lawler’s Law is on the line in this game too. Its correct 91.5% of the time since 1978.

    Curry’s 10th 3 made it 100-99 Warrior’s.

If the Knicks win, it’ll be part of the 8.5%.

First team to 100 points wins the game. It’s ok, I didn’t know what it was either until I just googled it.

THIS IS NUTS! Steph is killing it!!

I don’t like how they give Chandler rebounds for those tip outs. Though I think he should get credit I think in terms of statistical history we need to keep things consistent.

This may be the best 3point shooting display ever. He has missed like 2 of them. Spot up, off picks, off the dribble and in transition and tough and he has misses 2!!! Crazy!!

He better be on an All Star team next year…what’s the record for 3’s? 12?

I’m pretty sure he got the GSW 3 record. He’s averaging 46 ppg over his last two…

It’s a shame they couldn’t get him an open look at the end. Knicks finally took pride and guarded him harder in the end. Good game and amazing performance by Steph.

Klay gets a lot praise for being a great shooter, but I’ve seen him shooting badly every single time I’ve gotten the chance to watch the Warriors now.

Wow. What a game. The GF is a Steph Curry fan, so she was going nuts. Seriously that was unconscious shooting. There are too many shots and the highlight reels wont have time to show them. And the boxscore as ridiculous as it is will not show how many of those threes were off the dribble and on the move. Tomorrow I’m going to try to find the complete highlights on youtube because I want to see some of those shots again.

So Steph was 7 for 10 yesterday and now 11 for 13 tonight. He did not tie the record for most threes in a game. But I suspect he has blown the record for most threes in back to back games out of the water. And his percentages are crazy. 18 for 23 on threes over two games. That is 78%. That is a perfectly respectable three point percentage. Crazy also that his team lost both games (albeit against good teams and on the road). What happens if he has a bad shooting night?

Glad he had a big moment like this. The guy needs to be recognized as one of the top guards in the game.

This is why I was literally jumping up and down and cheering as a 12 year old when we picked Steph Curry in the draft. On a big time national stage, IN THE GARDEN?????? 54 points????? 11 Threes????? That’s ridiculous!!!! This guy is BIG TIME, we’ll be hearing from him again in May.

Great game and yeah Chandler should get credit for those rebounds.

If someone gets credit for a rebound that just bounces from the rim right to them he deserves credi for tapping it back.

Anyway he was unreal with those rebounds and he scored, block shots too.

I think the Knicks might’ve snapped out of their long funk since JR, Chandler, Melo, Amare are all playing better.

Despite Steph going off they played solid defense on him for the most part. The shot that Walt Frazier said there’s not defense for that was nice.

He was in a zone haven’t seen someone knock down that many 3s in a close games in years.

I think Shumpert was better defensively in the 4th qtr a lot more like how he played last year and the 6 stls were big.

Thankfully Woodson realized you can’t have Kidd out there who can’t hit a shot at all and obviously isn’t that quick on defense.

JR Smith was huge with his timely 3s and Melo’s 8 asts were too.

By the way some of those PGs in the draft a few yrs ago aren’t that great Jennings averages 6 asts and shoots 40%.

Teague was nothing special passing till this season and he does turn the ball over a lot.

I wanted Holiday because of his defense but even if they took Lawson I would’ve been fine with it.
Jordan Hill was a decent prospect a lot of ppl liked him but he was a reach in the top 10.

Man, just finished watching the game on tape delay, after the first quarter it looked like Golden State didn’t have a hope in hell, I almost turned it off, but I’m damned glad I didn’t.

Curry was great, his handle under pressure was spectacular, I admit that I was a doubter after his rookie years, mainly because of my distaste for the old GSW “run and gun” style, but with a clean run of health, he’s found his stroke like never before and it’s amazing to watch. He played almost the whole game, missing only 9 seconds or so I think, but he was so alive with love for the game that he wasn’t feeling it.

Also, did anyone else notice the Knicks getting away with bloody murder? It was like the 90s out there, they were playing VERY physical inside and not getting penalised, seems like the calls were going the Knicks way the whole night, especially down the stretch with that “offensive foul” they called on Draymond Green after he was thrown to the floor by Melo.

Oh, and just to weigh in on the rebound debate, no, I don’t think Chandler should get credit for the tap outs. A rebound is when you gain possession of the ball after a shot attempt, at no point during a tap out does Chandler gain possession of the ball, that’s like saying if a shot-blocker taps the shot back to the shooter (or an opponent) then the shot-clock should reset. Similarly, if Chandler taps it out to a member of the other team does it count as a turnover? The tap out is an effective tactic for this Knicks team, and it produces wins, so should you really open a whole can of worms by calling them rebounds just because Chandler is doing something that isn’t represented on the stat sheet?

Last year when we discussed the chances of Steph leading the league in scoring for a season? Doesnt seem so far fetched now does it? He showed you a glimpse of what he can do if he takes the scoring lead. Its not very easy for a team’s main distributor to lead the league in scoring. Iverson did it, Lebron could do it if he were more selfish. Thats the only thing that I could say that really would hold Steph back is on a nightly basis he has to look to get his teammates involved. Other than that, you cant tell me he couldnt avg 30ppg.
