TheWizardParticipantThis year of the draft was supposed to be the year of the power forward with Favors, Cousins (4/5), Udoh, Davis, and Monroe. But looking into their depth charts, all of these players have solid veterans placed in front of them. (Murphy, Dalembert/Thompson, Lee/Wright, Johnson/Bargnani, Villaneuva/Wallace/Wilcox)
Which of these players do you think will end up starters this year and who will contribute to their team?

sheltwon3ParticipantMonroe should get the starting nod too but probably before All Star Break.

sammybuckeye13ParticipantMost depth charts I’ve seen have Dalembert starting ahead of Cousins, Favors will get 18-25 minutes hopefully behind Murphy, Udoh will just be a rotation guy for a little while but he’ll make headway in starting quicker than Anthony Randolph and Brandan Wright (who still never starts) did, Davis will back up Amir Johnson but get good minutes, maybe around 22 mpg, and Monroe is going to start.

durantula83ParticipantI think they should start with Cousins and Thompson from day one. Cousins and Thompson are the future frontcourt of the organisation, Dalembert is a veteran underachiever who should come off the bench and prove what he’s still worth. If it works out, he might get to stay for less money next year and if not then he’s out of here and the Kings have 10 mil in free capspace.

TRC1991ParticipantI think Monroe starts from day 1…villanueva is not a solid player IMO all he does is shoot 3’s and produce inconsistent numbers

durantula83ParticipantFavors will get more minutes as the season goes on, he’ll start games too, just as soon as Murphy injures himself (which is pretty much a given). I think Golden State’s front court is set with Biedrins and Lee. I don’t see Udoh starting this year, he might beat Wright as the first big man off the bench though. Davis will start the season backing up Amir Johnson but I see him starting later on in the season. I’ve said it before, Johnson is a nice benchplayer but as a starter he’s outmatched most of the time. I’ve been high on him ever since the Detroit days but his progress has been limited. Greg Monroe will start for Detroit maybe as soon as January, he will create alot of opportunities for Hamilton cutting to the hole.

durantula83ParticipantRodney Stuckey/Will Bynum/ Terrico White
Richard Hamilton/Ben Gordon/Tracy McGrady
Tayshaun Prince/Austin Daye/DaJuan Summers
Jonas Jerebko/Jason Maxiell/Charlie Villanueva
Greg Monroe/Ben Wallace/Chris WilcoxBen Wallace will probably start and play 15-20 minutes a game. Daye has improved this summer or so I’ve been told, I’m curious about his potential. The Pistons are stacked this year, the biggest problem will be to find the right rotation.
