    I just heard that OJ Mayo may be running the point in Memphis. This is a great move for Memphis as well as OJ. 6’4, 210, good handles, progressing defensive, silky jumper, nice vision. Just needs to cut down on the turnovers and really pass the ball. He’ll do his thing.

    ive kinda been waiting on this 2 happen. I felt OJ shoul dhave been playin thepoint since day 1 when he came in the league. I jus didnt feel he was a 2 guard in the NBA. He had a lil trouble gaurding the bigger 2s in the league. I jus never thought conley was the rite point 4 that team

    Oj had a good future at SG but at Pg he as a very bright future but there are a lot of quick talented Pg’s on the league he couldve have trouble guarding all these pg’s but i could be wront pg is the deepest and most talent poisition on the nba to me and with oj playing pg now he just made it a little deeper

    Great move he played PG in HS & a lil at USC, he is best fit to play PG & not SG, he has good enough handle & passing abilty to run point well, he will be a lot better now that he is running the show & not having to go out there & try to guard bigger 2s like Kobe & Roy.

    He’ll be playing point guard in Summer League to see how things work out. I doubt he starts at the point on Opening Day, unless of course they trade Conley.

    He doesn’t have the explosiveness as Wade. Him playing Pg could be a Case of putting your best players on the court from the start of the game…
    Grizzles Line Up
    Mayo-Henry-Gay-Zac-Gasol-Conley-Thabeet-Young-Arthur-(Others)

    Then Look at the Heat possible line up-
    Wade-Miller-Lebron-Bosh-Shaq???-Chalmers-Haslem-Anthony-Pittman-Wright??? (Others)

    It looks like every team may just put their best 5 out the gate next season….see who floats to top …
