ItsVictorOladipoParticipantAgree with you. I think he’ll end up a top 3 prospect in whatever class he comes out in.

IhateusernamesParticipantSwitching gears slightly. Should Stanley be in the conversation of greatest high school player ever?
4 state titles in 4 years in the biggest state in the union, and him being the driving force……

AdamJCallejaParticipantThank you for stating this. I thought people would call me crazy if I made this statement but the argument is there. I saw Stanley play all 4 years if high school ball in so cal, and I gotta say by the time he was a junior he simply dominated the competition. He has the WHOLE package, I mean his size, grown-man strength, solid athleticism and above average ball skills at the high school level was just unstoppable. Not only does he have the game and physical tools, but his competitiveness and how hard he played was just amazing. 4 state titles in 4 years, this kid is a true winner. He is arguably the greatest high school player ever.

tuck243ParticipantOnly reason he didn’t have 4 state titles was because he got into early foul trouble in the first half of the state title his Junior year… He sat out majority of the first half… Then came back the 2nd half and had 36 points, but lost a close game…
Stanley plays for one of the BEST high schools in California… They always D-1 recruits there… Please with this non sense…

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI wouldn’t say he’s the greatest high school player of all time but he’s definitely one of the greatest WINNERS. (135 – 7 in four years)
“and him being the driving force……”
In his first 2 state titles, he was the 3rd option behind Katin Reinhardt and Xavier Johnson. His junior year, he was just barely the 1st option with Elijah Brown.
It wasn’t until his senior year that he was fully the #1 option, without question. So he didn’t win the 4 state titles as the driving force in every year.

tuck243ParticipantI don’t understand his point on that… Especially when Jabari Parker just won 4 straight state titles as the best player on the team… Stanley had a good career, but best HS player ever?? Lawd…

llperezthe only game i have seen of johnson’s was in the 2013 state championship game where he led his squad over aaron gordon’s team. Gordon stood out more but he had to for his team and he played wild. Johnson was just a junior and seemed so calm and under control while having equally as good an impact on the game as the senior gordon did for his team.

strobox88ParticipantI’ve been saying he’s going to go #1 since our early bold predictions for this class and I still firmly stand by that.
