    Bradley Beal was a lottery pick last year, Ben McLemore and Otto Porter are projected as lottery picks this year, pretty impressive. Anybody know who the next stud from St. Louis is?

    I totally thought this was about the St. Louis University team and I was so confused what that had to do with Beal, McLemore and Porter lol

    Yeah, Porters high school is rural and there were only like 600 kids there.

    Seems I was wrong, Porter is not from St Louis, even then 2 top 5 picks in consecutive years is not bad. The Chicago area is on a heck of a run as well two #1 picks Derrick Rose, Anthony Davis and some lottery picks on the way in Jabari Parker and Jahlil Okafor

    Larry Hughes was the OG man. He put St Louis basketball on the map. My dad and I used to go to tons of games back in the day. There was alot of talent in the late 90’s. I thought Jimmy McKinney would make it. Not from the Lou but I got to see Shaun Livingston in HS. Kid was the truth, probably the best basketball player i’ve seen in person (besides Kobe).. BJ Young is also from the Lou, he may be a 1st rounder at some point. In terms of what’s next, I’m not as in the know anymore

    Also Kalen Grimes before he pulled a shotgun on somebody. Alex Tyus was solid for Florida. Can’t forget David Lee either. He is a charter member. Jeremy Maclin, who’s on the Eagles in the NFL, could have played D1 basketball. Blake Ahern played a few years in the league, great shooter. It was in my early years but I think Jahadi White was from the Lou.
