gatorheelsParticipantI don’t know why the Spurs would rather have McDyess instead of Big Baby…I think Glen Davis is the better player now.

RickyRubio9ParticipantI was hoping the Rox could bring him in to play some center, but he must want a chance to win considering he is aging. Probably around a 2 year deal with options worth 8-9 Million? I don’t think he’d get paid much more…but I could be wrong. Just throwing out numbers.

Meditated StatesParticipantThat team needs to get younger. Big Baby is a more explosive scorer right now. He can hit the jumper like Mcdyess and he can do more in the post. A lot more active on the O glass too.

jcjParticipantThe Spurs want McDyess coz they want to win now. I think McDyess fits in better with this Spurs team. If they were rebuilding and looking long term, Davis would be a better option, but if they are just looking to add depth for a title run over the next 2 years, McDyess fits better. This is not just in terms of fitting with the team but money wise- McDyess is more likely to take a smaller contract for a chance at a ring, while Davis is still looking to cash in on a career. I think Davis will ask for too much money to be taken by a contender with limited cap space.
