Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantAnyone else see Kobe try to make a statement and have a big game?
Or maybe Kobe will try too hard and shoot his team out of it.
Could go either way.

llperezhis last game he was unslefish with 11 assists and was looking for teammates and he got his 32 points.
As for tonight, dont care who does what as long as the lakers win.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantEverything seems to be going wrong for Ron Artest.

mikeyvthedonParticipantA thing of beauty. What a year he is having, it is a feel good story when you see an undrafted rookie like him getting minutes on a great team.

IndianaBasketballParticipantRon Artest needs to have a good game… BAD.

llperezron is playing more aggressive then he has any game this year. It might not be pretty tonight but long term i think it will only help.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThey better start guarding George Hill.

llperezdisagree with reggie miller when he says people think of the celtics, heat, lakers and magic when it comes to contenders but noone ever thinks about the spurs. Spurs have been getting all kinds of love, not sure who he has been talking to.

marcusfizer21Participantright… don’t buy that "under-the-radar" thing the Spurs are feeling because I know Kobe and the rest of the league know that the Spurs are still a threat…

BigDParticipantThey’ve been getting attention, but to nowhere near the extent that the Celtics or Heat or Lakers have
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/03/2011 - 6:37pm #482823

llpereznow miller says the lakers should be scared the score is tied becasue they are letting the spurs hang around and they cant feel good about that. What? the lakers havent been beating any top teams and the spurs are the best team in the league, i just want a win forget blowouts, lol.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/03/2011 - 6:39pm #482825

llperezheat, celtics and lakers get more attention but not more respect. They get more attention becasue of the media markets, but nobody is sleeping on san antonio this year or disresepecting them.

BigDParticipantI think that’s what Miller was referring too, is the fans and media weren’t speaking about the Spurs as much as the other contenders, of course the rest of the league would know there a threat, but a lot of people do still think the Spurs are too old to win the championship, that’s what he was referring to i think

IndianaBasketballParticipantI loved Miller as a basketball player, but I don’t really like him in his tv job.

BigDParticipanti liked Ron Artest’s energy in the game, he played like he had a point to prove

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThere were so many tipped balls in the final 2 minutes in favor of the Spurs.

TyrekeJonesParticipantAgreed llperez, they gave the Spurs four chances to win at the end, Manu’s three, Tony Parker’s runner, Duncan’s fadeaway and finally McDysses’ tip in which was what won it for the Spurs.

Meditated StatesParticipantThey have got younger and they will be a problem come playoff time. Lakers might need a trade. It is the regular season, but something does not seem right about them. I don’t like their depth either.
