Bmore_DCParticipantLooks like Spurs are clearing space, sending Splitter to ATL per Yahoo Sports.
Dont know what the Spurs are getting back in return yet.

Robb_CParticipantAdam Silver should address this.. It seems like the Spurs and Hawks are always scratching each others back.. Obviously with Danny Ferry and Coach Bud with the Hawks, its gonna be obvious they have a team to team relationship.. But its starting to become slowly two teams using a relationship to manipulate future moves.. Example back when Josh Smith was with the Hawks, who was the first team to report “interest” in him the spurs. I highly doubt this interest was genuine but was just the spurs doing Danny Ferry a favor and trying to create value for Josh Smith so the Hawks could get him off the books.. Now fast foward the hawks take on splitter so the Spurs can make a push for Aldridge..

Bmore_DCParticipantNo team in the league, with billions at stake, would do another team a "favor" if they didnt think it would help their team. The spurs had interest in Josh Smith long before Danny Ferry even got there. Do your research.

Bmore_DCParticipantThe hawks weakness last year was rim protection, and with the cap going up and up, Splitter’s deal isnt that bad for a 7 footer

Bencelticsfan2346ParticipantThis could mean millsap is leaning towards the magic if the Hawks are already bringing in front court depth

FearTheStacheParticipantOr maybe, since they’re losing Antic next season, they were able to acquire a starting caliber center on a very reasonable contract (a bargain after next year) for next to nothing

PulseGlazerParticipantLooks like LMA to Spurs. I can’t imagine them making this deal otherwise.
