Sorry.Winning.ParticipantI’ve been watching the Bulls and they just seem flat out of ideas on offense here is a 3 way trade that I drew up on espns trade machine and it said that it would work money wise
Chicago Bulls get
Rudy Gay
Zach Randolph
Leandro BarbosoMemphis Grizzlies get
Kirk Hinrich
Luol DengPhoenix Suns get
Tyrus Thomas
Taj Gibson or James JohnsonThe fact of the matter is Rudy Gay will not resign with Memphis unless they give him 100 million, Memphis would like a long term SF and Luol is locked up and they have shown interest in the past(long ago when there was only talk about trading him and some other players for Pau Gasol) aslo they would be dumping alot of money by getting ride of Zach Randolph. Mike Conely is not a star he is barely worthy of being a backup so Kirk starts now and Phoenix I think could renew Tyrus’s outlook on basketball with their running offense so they could have another Shawn Marion type of player. I don’t mean to rant on but there are an abundent amount of reasons I would like to see this trade go down. Any questions or statements post them and I’ll give you feed back on where I’m coming from.

gatorheelsParticipantPhoenix is getting away with robbery. They just have to give up Barbosa & they get Tyrus & one of the rookies. The Suns would do that deal today.
The team that is getting ripped off in this deal is Memphis. The Grizzlies would lose 2 of their 4 best players meanwhile they get back Deng who isn’t as good as Gay & Hinrich who I think is overrated.
You must be a Bulls fan because this makes Chicago a real threat in the East.
Overall now way this big trade would ever go down unless some cash & future draft picks were also involved.

Sorry.Winning.Participanthaha you would be correct I am a bulls fan, I forgot to mention give Memphis this years first round pick of the Bulls.
The whole Tyrus thing, I’ve had to watch him for the start of a 4th year now and all everyone says is potential potential potential well I think by now he should have shown us that potential consistantly and not just once or twice a month. Tyrus and Rudy Gay came out the same year and actually have the same birthdate look how much better Rudy is than Tyrus. Given Rudy was able to play and start earlier in his career because he is on Memphis but a guy like Tyrus just makes me think of Stromile Swift who also is a LSU alumni…I’m seeing a trend from LSU here (cough cough) Anthony Randolph(cough cough)

Sorry.Winning.ParticipantInteresting question, by my math it would still work out. Because pretty much our payroll would be cut by less than a million in that trade but Brad Miller and Jermore James contracts both are expiring after this season thats almost 19 million right there which would be Wade money. Rudy would be the only problem but with a team that has Rose and Wade starting alone with Noah and Randolph I could see Rudy wanting to be apart of that. Bulls just can’t be cheap this off-season this could determine what teams are legitimate contenders for the next 5-7 years

TheFactionCoalition.comParticipantI think people should refrain from proposing trades involving their team. It appears most people overrate the ability of the players on their team and don’t give enough credit to players on other teams. Today I have seen Joel Przybilla for Jeff Green, Kevin Martin Donte Greene and an expiring contract for Al Harrington, Jordan Hill and Jared Jeffries. Now I see the Bulls and Suns ripping the Grizzlies worse than the Lakers did for Gasol. I’m a Kings fan, do you think the Cavs will take Sean May, Kenny Thomas, Nocioni and Ime Udoka for LBJ??!!
Obviously I’m being sarcastic but just because a trade will match up in salary and you’re team is getting players like they have deep secret info on every GM in the league, doesn’t mean it makes any sense.0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/24/2009 - 5:55pm #232904

TyroberParticipantphoenix wouldnt think twice about this deal

Sorry.Winning.ParticipantActually if you read any of my posts you would see I’m very real with what actually is opposed to what isn’t. I simply pointed out that Memphis has liked Luol in the past and they may need a SF for the long run and Luol could be that since its inevitable that Rudy will not re-sign with them. Also I admit that Tyrus is more of a bust than Greg Oden at this point. Why ruin someones expression of a creative thinking mind? It’s okay to dream, but your probably still bitter about Robert Horry.

Sorry.Winning.ParticipantAs I keep crunching numbers I will add that the Suns would send this years 2nd round draft pick to the Bulls, If there are any more questions I have just finished drawing up how the Bulls could fill in roster spots and how the money would work out if this was the precise scenario.

SportsNinjaParticipantHaha, you try to justify your crazy dream trade as creative expression? I’m a Kings fan too and commented on the KMart/Greene for garbage trade and this is just as bad. Faction’s right in the Grizz get smashed in this. I know it makes sense for your team but why don’t you come up with a proposal that benefits all teams. You’re weak rationale as to why a team may want to do it is lame. Don’t you think Memphis could get way more for what they’re giving up? You may love your guys and another team may have once liked some of your guys but it doesn’t mean they trade their best players for them. It’s a business in which everyone wants to win, not bend over for your team. Apparently your business acumen isn’t equivalent to your “creative expressionism.”

bkballerParticipantyou know what i noticed….every bulls fans claims to like tyrus thomas and say he has lots of potential. However every single time a plyaer is on the market or they make a trade proposal he is the first person they include. makes me wonder that maybe he isnt as good as people claim.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/24/2009 - 7:20pm #232919

Sorry.Winning.ParticipantI hear where you coming from bkballer, I for one have never like Tyrus and I have also mentioned that I’m tired of the whole pontential tag on him. If you really want me to put it more blunt I am in fact a Tyrus hater and yeah I’ve noticed that trend by Bulls management that they seemingly always are willing to trade him. Thats why I later mentioned just trade him to the Suns with either James Johnson or Taj Gibson.
SportNinja, I’m only justifying that this is merely an idea of mine because I’ve notice some occurances around the NBA concerning the economic climate and the fact that the Grizzlies should try to get something for Rudy instead of letting him walk after this year especially if that means if they can get rid of Zach Randolph who is a growing tumor in any locker room he enters not to mention he is owed 16 million per year for this year and next. Please its not like Memphis over the past few years haven’t made any bad choices the biggest one trading Gasol for peanuts even though little bro is looking good.

d-grizzlyParticipantyou do realize that gay’s restricted…. meaning that if someone else gave him 100 million the grizz would have to match, which i don’t think they should or would.
zach randolph has been fitting in well with the grizz and contributing to their success also.
DO YOU GO OFF WHAT YOU HEAR? GASOL FOR A BAG OF PEANUTS? I’m gettin tired of hearing that stupid bull$hit..
davis, you should not have made this trade idea just like i shouldn’t have made the one of the knicks and the kings. atleast i can man-up to my mistake.

marcusfizer21ParticipantI would hate to see Zach Randolph getting in a Bulls uniform… He’s a cancer waiting to happen… He does provide good low post scoring but he could be a bad example in terms of character guys like Luol Deng and Derrick Rose…

thaprodigyParticipantThe Grizzlies have barely had some success this season
