RickyRubio9ParticipantWow, this team looks good man and Argentina’s main players, Ginoboli, Oberto, Nocioni, and Scola are aging…I’m pretty sure this team is second best only to USA, but wow the talent they have. First off, I want to say, MEMPHIS let Navarro go! Please! He needs to be in this league! Marc Gasol is looking good and Fernandez…we all know what he can do. Rubio’s shot is looking good as well and he can still make plays. Victor Claver and Sergio Llull have been doing well in the Prep Eurobasket as well. Basically most of their National Team Players are in the NBA, (Rudy, Ricky, Calderon, Pau, Marc, Jorge. G, Navarro, Llull, Claver) May be missing some as well, Claver and Llull should be in the league in the future, and Navarro and Jorge have been in it. It’s amazing the talent they have been getting from their country.
Check out a few of their more recent games,

Both wins, big wins in that…I didn’t put much time into looking for the box scores although I’d love to see them. 🙂 All I’m saying is Spain is a big contributor to the talent in the NBA, more so then plenty of other countries outside the US.

Anton123ParticipantThe Spanish team won the basketball world cup not so long ago and Rudy, Marc and Rubio continue to develop, so they shall always meet USA in the finals. I guess it goes like this
1. USA
2.Spain
3.Argentina
4.Lithuania (maybe with Donatas they can be 3)
I am a little surprised that Italy can’t win anything, they have the best snipers in the world (Bargniani, Kapono, Gallinari)0 - Posted on: Sun, 08/23/2009 - 4:49am #204830

torontoraptors10ParticipantAnton: Kapono is American of Italian decent
Ilperez: I believe Memphis has Navarro’s rights, just like how the Raptors had Delfino’s right even though both players are in Europe
I might be wrong but I think thats how it is. Hope I helped!

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantI’m surprised France doesn’t do better on the international stage. They have Tony Parker at point guard, Mikael Pietrus as a defensive stopper on the wing. Young talented players like Nic Batum, Rod Beubouis and Nando de Colo and a deep frontcourt led by Joakim Noah, Boris Diaw and Ronny Turiaf. Other NBA guys like Yakhouba Diawara, Alexis Ajinca, Ian Mahinmi and Johan Petro round out the frontcourt.

quincey hodgesprob because noah and onny have no real offense. and since the teams play zone it hurts them even more

RickyRubio9ParticipantI said he needs to be in the NBA because the guy can shoot and he didn’t do bad while in the league for that one year, but Memphis does own his rights
