BasketballGuru24ParticipantMagic seem to be close to a deal that will see vince carter and jameer nelson moving to New orleans for Chris paul. This trade will not be made till a 3rd team is in and will take emeka . Paul And Dwight I see a great Duo
If this doesn’t work, magic are willing to trade VC for randy foye and thortnon

AllDayyyParticipantI can smell the bullsht from thousands of miles away. Kinda weird that they would be trading for Randy Foye considering he’s a free agent and the Wiz will not be taking Vince on. Vince and Gilbert and John Wall and Kirk Hinrich and Nick Young. PLEASE

——————————————————————————————————————————————I’m not saying that these rumours are legit but the reasons you bring up are kinda weak.
Foye is not an UFA he is a RFA. The Wiz can extend a qualifying offer to Foye if they choose and if they let him know in advance that he will be traded to a contender like Orlando I really doubt he would oppose such a deal.
Also why wouldn’t they take on Vince? Vince has a huge expiring contract which is a major bargaining chip.
“Vince and Gilbert and John Wall and Kirk Hinrich and Nick Young. PLEASE”
The link says: “The Chicago Bulls sent Kirk Hinrich to Washington on Thursday, and according to Pingalore’s NBA sources, he could be traded with Al Thornton and Randy Foye for Vince Carter.”
umm if Vince was traded for a combo of Foye, Thornton and Hinrich why would Hinrich still be there? The Wiz would have a backcourt of Wall, Arenas, VC and Nick Young which seems more than plausible. Washington could be major players during free agency in 2011 with this move and the Magic upgrade their depth in the backcourt and add a replacement for Matt Barnes.
