valentineTrade Stephen Curry for Marc Gasol.
Warriors finally solve their hole at Center
While the Grizzlies upgrade their PG spot with Curry and finally become a perennial playoff team.
Problem solved!

apb540ParticipantStephen Curry is a fuck of a lot better than Marc Gasol.

4th dimensionYou have to give up talent to get talent buddy.

Tongue-Out-Like-23Participant4th dimension
You’re giving up an immobile center for a player that may end up being the best player on your roster? Then you come up with the b.s. excuse such as "You give talent to get talent" which is completely stupid because even at this point of Stephen Curry’s career, he is a much better player than Marc Gasol.
Get outta here.

4th dimensionWhat the hell? Why am I getting all these negative points? The trade is not as lopsided as you idiots think it is.

BigDParticipantWho is the Grizzlies centre after the trade?
Memphis just extended Conley, so why would they trade for Curry.

4th dimensionHasheem Thabeet needs to get minutes to prove himself. And Mike Conley sucks, hes been given every opportunity and he has failed to lead them to the playoffs. They could even put Curry at the SG, because Mayo sucks just as much as Conley.

BigDParticipantHasheem Thabeet is the one who needs to get traded if he needs minutes to prove himself. Stephen Curry is miles in front of Gasol anyway. And why is Conley the one to lead them into the playoffs? Isn’t the leader of the team Rudy Gay?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/30/2011 - 9:14pm #480943
4th dimensionThere is no leader on the team, Rudy Gay is not a leader, Zach Randolph is not a leader, it ultimately falls on the PG and Conley has leadership qualities but his skills is just average which makes him just an average PG. Curry would elevate them to the next level. And Thabeet will be a good player, I can see him being the next Mutombo 2 years from now.

BigDParticipantMike Conley is not the leader of the Grizzlies, nor will he be. Memphis would be a terrible defensive team if they gave up Gasol for Curry, and they already are a bad defensive squad. Curry and Conley would take the reigns of the worst defensive backcourt in the league. and then with Mayo off the bench? Wheres Xavier Henry and they’re defensive stalwart Tony Allen going to fit. or Sam Young?
Furthermore, what about the Warriors? Who’s their PG?

RUDEBOY_Participant4th Dimension, Dude I was respecting your Post until you said Thabeet needs Minutes to prove himself..
Thabeet has been giving every chance to prove himself..And the only thing he’s proved is that Memphis made a Huge mistake taking him number 2..Thabeet gets pushed around by point guards..Has no offensive moves and players arent afraid of his shot blocking skills anymore..They’re taking it right at him…
