MagikKnickParticipantimo Morris Almond is a borderline NBA player, but should be on an NBA roster
Courtney Sims won the NBDL MVP, not sure what thats worth…but it should translate into the NBA somehow….right?
Dionte Christmas deserves a longer look, imo
and anyone else somewhat surprised to see Goran Suton get cut? I didnt think he as an NBA talent since Day 1, but teams usually keep 2nd round draft picks even for 1 year

The Big OGarrett Siler
he needs to continue to lose weight.
There are very few F-C that size and he seems pretty athletic albeit out of shape
I guess its just timing.
Hope he goes to the D-League and works on his finesse game.0 - Posted on: Thu, 10/22/2009 - 11:31am #223148

MagikKnickParticipantYeah agreed, I like Mike Taylors potential
What about Paul Harris, NBA level player?

JNixonParticipantAlmond isn’t a good enough athlete or ball handler, he cant create for himself or defend. He’s a good shooter, but not quite good enough to offset his weaknesses.
Christmas hasn’t done anything of note since about January of this year, and has looked HORRIBLE when playing with NBA talent.
Curtis Jerrells was always a favorite of mine, but he might not be a pure enough PG or athletic enough to make it in the NBA.
Mike Taylor needs another chance.
Mario West was hard-nosed, but he was too poor an offensive player.

JNixonParticipantPaul Harris doesn’t do much of anything at an NBA level that a perimeter needs to do expect defend. He’s a good rebounder, but that’s not going to get you on a team where your playing SG. He’s too short for SF.

The Big OIf he can learn to make plays for others and/score in the post then
he can offset some of his weaknesses.0 - Posted on: Thu, 10/22/2009 - 11:57am #223147

torontoraptors10ParticipantMike Taylor was very decent on the Clippers. He needs an NBA team.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe Clippers cut McNeal. Wesley Mathews looks like he will make Utah’s roster. Dominic James signed with a pro team overseas.

marcusfizer21ParticipantMike Taylor should be on an NBA team right now… damn! He could be an energy guy that the Celtics, Cavaliers and Lakers need… Teams forgot how explosive he was when he was with the Clips… He should find a home in the NBA…
