Who are some players that aren’t even projected too get drafted but you think will declare or are seniors that you believe will end up on teams next season? Here’s a couple I like.

    Rico Gathers – Baylor

Averaging just about a double double 9.6 PPG 9.8 RPG 1.5 SPG. Has flaws such as kind of short at only 6’9. Would have too play center because of his inability too stretch the floor. His offensive game is too raw for a four year player as well. And not a true rim protector because of his size. With all that being said, he players hard and is leading the B12 in rebounding. Has a very solid frame and won’t be pushed around even by NBA players. Players that can rebound and play hard and don’t require plays ran for them are valuable guys. I think he can be a Tarik Black kind of find for some team like Black was for the Rockets.

    Le’Bryan Nash -Oklahoma State

This guy has a lot of potential as a scorer and defender. Averaging 17.8 PPG 6.5 RPG and 2.2 APG. Pretty athletic kid that has gotten better every year at State. Now that Smart is gone it’s his team and he is responding.  He could very well be the front runner for B12 player of the year in the best top too bottom conference in America. Whiles he not projected too get drafted I’d be shocked if he’s not on a team a year from now.

I don’t know much about those players, but I do like this thread and hope posters fill it up.

I have a good feeling Mike Caffey out of Long Beach state will make a roster. His game is almost identical to Casper Ware, but won’t be in draft discussions because of his size and playing in such a weak conference.

Jake Layman – I really like his size, mobility and shooting ability at the SF spot.  I think he could be a starter on a team at some point in his career.
