which team won on draft night?

personally i think a couple of teams made out welll…

Golden State…Klay Thompson will be great for them…but i love picking up Jeremy Tyler, he could be a long term solution at C for them

Utah… Enes Kanter and Burks could both possibly start immediatly

Washington with Vesely, Singleton, and Mack….alll great picks…Singleton and Mack are steals

    Biggest Losers….

Sacramento only because they took Jimmer when Brandon Knight was available

Phoenix because they picked the wrong brother/wrong player all together

Indiana because they traded their whole draft for George Hill…could have gotten better value, and because TJ Ford wasnt swapped

The Kings couldn’t have taken Brandon Knight, because they were picking for the Bobcats. Excluding the Wizards I think Golden State won because they got 3 players who can be in the rotation right away and contribute right away in Klay Thompson, Jeremy Tyler and Jenk. The Wolves did pretty good. They get a great all- around player in Derrick Williams, a good defender and athlete in Malcolm Lee and a great shooter in Bojan Bogdanovic. And I think the Nuggets did really well. They got Kenny Faried and Jordan Hamilton who I think were lottery worthy players and Andre Miller.

I basically agree with everything you said. The only thing is, the Sacramento trade was only bad in hindsight. There was nothing they could have done after (they should have implemented a "trade backs" clause, and implemented it after seeing Knight fall). No one saw that coming. They assumed, like all of us, that he was going either 3 or 5.

The Phoenix thing could have been a typo. David Stern probably wrote "M.Morris" on his card, and after spouting out all these European names, he probably only remembered the brother with the crazier name. Robin was excited to finally have someone to share stories with about being in their brother’s shadow.

I think Denver made out pretty well. Trading Felton for Andre Miller and Jordan Hamilton was a good move. Miller’s contract is better financially, and he can finish Chauncey’s job of mentoring Ty Lawson. Coming out of the late 1st with Hamilton and Faried is solid. That second unit of Birdman and Faried is gonna go HAM 24/7
