I May Be WrongParticipantI really like what he brings on the court and I wanted to show him some love. He won’t get mentioned by most fans and is probably an after thought but he’s becoming a favorite of mine. Last season, you saw flashes of what he can do but I worried about his position because he fits that tweener role. He was a second rounder so it’s not like he had a lot of expectations to begin with. And while his shot is still a work in progress, I absolutely love the way this guy plays! He gives it his all for the Sixers and he’s being rewarded with about 28 mins a night. 10 ppg, 5 rpg and 1.7 bpg are solid numbers (horrible shooting percentages but thats a product of the lack of talent to begin with). He’s a glue guy and his Dhalsim like wingspan makes him an interesting player. I hope the Sixers keep for the foreseeable future to bring off the bench for energy or occasionally start. And I’m posting this block highlight (and Andrew Wiggins’ game changing dunk) just because it was pretty sick.

TankensteinParticipantNo more Grant iso please. He can’t finish. I do like the kid though, he works hard and is very likable. His teammates love him. Perhaps when he fills out, gains a few lbs. he’ll be a strong finisher.

I May Be WrongParticipantAgreed. I do like when he cuffs the ball for a jam sometimes, even tho he doesn’t finish it most times haha. IF he can add a jumper, that would be huge for him.

circumlocution75Participantlong arms & he blocks a lot of shots…. but I agree w/ Tank… What is Phila thinking running ISo’s for him – he can not finish…. He’s like a SF version of Noel – great defender, not so good at the other end….
Any of the Phila fans know when Wroten & Marshall will be ready to go??? b/c Okafor is the hardest working man in show business…. b/c his guards (McConnel, Canaan, Stauskus) can’t beat Anyone 1 v 1 – he hasn’t had an easy bucket all year…
At least Wroten can penetrate & Marshal will look to feed the Beast on the Low Block late in games…..

DolanCareParticipantI like Jerami Grant, he should be in the league for the long time as a hussle/glue guy. But boy do I wish he stayed in Syracuse for at least another year. He’s barely a ball player but rather a great athlete.
College is where you learn the basic fundamentals of the game, which Grant has a tenuous grasp on. His handle, passing and shot are raw AF. He has a nice spin move which is especially helpful when another defender switches onto him and more susceptible to getting burned by someone with lesser ball-handling skills. But generally speaking, Jerami is someone who needs to work hard in the offseason to become an overall player.
