michaelds911ParticipantWhat do you guys think about Sherron Collins? I think he is going to be a pretty good NBA player when he comes out. He reminds me of Jameer Nelson a lot, but more explosive. Anybody agree?

usfballerParticipantWhat he measures in at when he finally does will determine alot. If he’s closer to 6′ than I think you may have a nice comparison. But I am really afraid he is closer to 5’8″, which would limit him to an off-the-bench-energy/ballpressure role like fellow Crane grad’s Tony Allen and Will Bynum. I really hope he makes it. Over the last three years he has changed his game and worked on being a real PG instead of just a scorer. Don’t think he is quite there and would certainly benefit from another year (as long as Aldrich comes back).

michaelds911ParticipantHe’s listed at 5’11”. It looks about right because he didn’t look to much shorter than willie warren who’s 6’3″-6′ 4″. I do agree that he should stay another year to get his all around game more rounded though.

jorrye24He is super fast with the ball in his hands and he has a good jump shot. I like his ball handling skills he is real quick and is super explosive, even for an NBA point guard. Real flashy player. He is a bulldog on the floor too. He reminds me of kyle lowry for the rockets or Terrell Branmdon. Gifted athlete, can windmill dunk at 5’10. The only noticable improvement he has to make is his ability to pass the ball without turning it over. Looks like a future starter in the league to me,regardless of height.

kpi03ParticipantMy brother is 6’3″ and rides the bus with Sherron to school sometimes. He swears up and down that Collins is not much shorter than him at all. He believes him to be 6ft.

A. StockI Really Doubt Height Will Damper This Guys Career At All. You’ve Got To Remember, He’s Always Been Shorter Than His Competition, So Why Would It Matter Now? He’s Fast, Quick, Jumpy, And Last But Not Least STRONG. Collins Is A Bowling Ball Of A Player, Built Much Like A Linebacker. Give This Guy The Right System And Coach Who’ll Let Him Run The Team… You’ve Got Yourself A Quality Starting PG.

Csharp3410ParticipantI played him when he was a Senior in HS and the guy was about 5’9′ at that time. He might of grown but i dont know. He was a bull of a player. He just took everything to the hoop. NBA quality? Im not sure, he might make a couple teams and be a backup. But thats all i think he will do.
