Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI don’t like Collins, he got lazy when he needed to be on point. How do you gain 13 pounds in 2 weeks? He wieght 222 lbs at the last big workout. I think he’s a 3rd PG at best.

MagikKnickParticipantthey must really like him, didnt even let him compete for a roster spot in SL, signed straight off the bat, lol
I dont think hes Feltons replacement though, I think they just need a 3rd PG and plan to re-sign Felton. Hes more like point guard insurance if anything.

KU PRIDE14ParticipantOkay Sherron Collins has notoriously had weight issues his whole career at KU and I guess now going into the NBA, every year at Kansas before the season there would be a report that he had gained weight, and always when the season started he was in great shape and one of the most athletic players, he always gets back into great shape if he wasn’t in good shape in the first place…. and did no one see the draft express interview with him? he had a strong 6 pack and was in great shape, he will be fine and in my opinion should make the bobcats roster, hmmhmmm i remember almost everyone on this site saying he was the steal of the draft, what happened to that?

JoeWolf1I don’t think he’s Felton’s replacement, but DJ Augustine has not really panned out, and I think this move is to potentially find a more reliable backup point guard, and for a good value. I think Sherron can be a solid 2nd point guard in Charlotte.
