whyyouhatingParticipantIf he can stay that size not short but weight wise he can be a good back up.
The kid can score the ball and can handle it enough to run sets.
Remember when he first came into college before the injury to his knee he had hops.
I think the body fat never allowed him to really get back to that at Kansas.
Like he said he is a pro now and he has people helping him eat right and work out so he has a chance.
IF he keeps the weight off and works hard he can be a Will Bynum type guard off the bench for someone.0 - Posted on: Fri, 06/18/2010 - 6:08pm #335226
kanebangerParticipanthe cant jump as high as will tho

SteroidParticipantHe has some short arms. haha. I could see him doing something at the NBA level. He’s not going to transform a team, but he could do well on a team that is already productive.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantHe needs to lose wieght. He went to a workout recently and gained lbs. He’s 222 as a 5-11 PG? That’s not good.

MagikKnickParticipantDamn, Byron Eaton sure has been eating…
And as you can see, in that 2nd video, hes lost a good amount of weight, as long as he can stay injury-free for a while, I dont think he’ll struggle with weight issues as his career progresses

JoeWolf1I hear you knicksboy32, he’s struggled with weight issues despite the fact he is strong and can carry it well. I think he just has a very low metabolism, but I think he can be an asset to a team especially in the open court. He has amazing handles and can move with the ball very well. I think the fact he tweaked his hamstring or groin ( i dont remember which ) and put on some weight before the draft could hurt his stock, but if he keeps the weight off I think he could be a 2nd string point guard next season.

Meditated StatesParticipanthe has the speed of a Lawson or athletic ability. He could be a back up, but I don’t like him as a pro prospects other than mid to late 2nd round. Need to see how well he can go by and defend quicker NBA caliber guards to really get an idea what he can do.

JNixonParticipantThe has the handle and quickness to be a good backup PG. He’s not a great defender at all because he’s not tall or long enough and he is a little stiff laterally, but he can pressure the ball up the court. I think he can be a very good change-of-pace PG. I have him going to Boston (2nd round) in my mock.
