Kemp was the man, not to date myself too much, but I sported the Kamakazes in 7th grade basketball. He was nasty the way he would dunk on someone and flat out taunt them after. I loved it, I found this Kemp mix tape from one of his high school games, I don’t know if its the super 80’s soundtrack or the fact that he had that many highlights in one game that makes me like it so much, but…

was one of those players that put the “power” into power forward. It is too bad he has to be added to the list of players who didn’t get a ship because of Mike. Also, seeing him in the cavs jersey was just sad….. I prefer to remember the Kemp that was in the highlight videos.

FWIW, Auburn coach Tony Barbee recently said that Shawn Kemp Jr. did not qualify academically and will not play at Auburn this year.
