thetruthParticipantif both enter the 2010 nba dunk contest. and were to face off in the final round. who would win?
now i know bronbron can fly, and has some crazy power dunks. but i wonder if he can remain creative throughout the dunk contest. but anyway who you think will win?0 - Posted on: Thu, 11/26/2009 - 4:37pm #233433

MagikKnickParticipantI think creativity will be a challenge for both of them…
Even on Browns craziest dunks, they’re only crazy because he elevated a bit more than the defender….but whats he capable of doing in mid-air, does he have the agility and body control to show something original? Same goes for James…

QHaynes20Lebron…its a popularity contest my man

whiteflashParticipantLebron will win just because of his name, just like the last time he beat Brown at the McD’s contest. Brown can do some creative things, but James is strictly a game dunker. And with that, all of his dunks are the exact same. The only good thing about James entering is it would hopefully get the other superstars interested in the dunk contest again, making it relevant. Other than that there’s no point in having James in it.

aarondsonixfanParticipantI think that it’s gonna be Brown, LeBron, Dwight, and Nate for the dunk contest this year, and I actually think that the final is gonna be with LeBron and Dwight. I like Brown, but I don’t think he knows enough tricks, and Dwight always is a crowd favorite> I can’t tell you a winner between those 2, it just matters what the dunks are like.

whiteflashParticipantHoward and Robinson need to retire from the contest. Robinson showed his a$$ last year [jumping OFF of a guy? Pushing himself off Howard?] and Howard makes sh!t up [that rim was 11′, not 12′]. Trust me, Brown can do some creative things. I’m sure he’ll get an invite based off of what he’s done so far this year. Joe Alexander needs to be in there as well. Guy has vids of himself tapping his head against the rim. James has no business in the contest. Revert back to the McD’s footage if you need proof. Everything he’d do he’s done in games, and all of his game dunks are similar. Also, last year he said he could dunk on a 13′. BULLSH!T. The top of the backboard is 13′, and there might not be a guy in the league who can touch it. I doubt he can get a 12′. I believe the world record dunk is a bit over 12′ by Mike Wilson, and James sure as f@ck ain’t getting that. If they’re only admitting four contestants I’d like to see Alexander, James White [call up!], a good little man dunker [like Lou Williams, Mike Taylor, Jerryd Bayless, Brandon Jennings or Will Bynum], and Demar DeRozan. That would be a good contest.

onn1320ParticipantI’d like to see Chase Budinger in it. I remember he won a dunk contest in college.

itsOvaParticipantAgree with Q and whiteflash
LeBron will probably win if he enters, just because he is the “KING”
(Personally, I dont think he deserves to be called the “KING”, but Im kinda getting used to him being called King James now)
I also would not want to see either DH or Nate in the dunk again, its just getting old.
so my 4 dunkers for this year would be
LeBron (I actually want to see what he can do)
Shannon (….)
A little guy (Will Bynum, Ty Lawson, Jennings?,etc.)
And a rookie
or if possible, maybe a guy not in the NBA (namely “Air Up There” dude is sick)
so yea, it should be fun to watch, but if LeBron enters, hes gonna win..0 - Posted on: Thu, 11/26/2009 - 8:24pm #233486

The8thDeadlySinParticipantIn history, dont kings usually have jewlery?? I guess it doesnt work like that in the NBA. If it did, the only “king” would be Bill Russel.

ckelley015Participantdoesnt anyone want to see this man in the dunk contest? his pregame dunks on youtube are pretty insane
id say him, demar derozan, LBJ, and shannon brown would be a nasty group of dunkers, but i really hope to see the nba all stars back competing and interested in the dunk contest.. Get vince carter, LBJ, kobe, dwade, josh smith, and maybe Jrich. any combination of those guys would be fun to watch.0 - Posted on: Fri, 11/27/2009 - 8:54am #233542
quincey hodgeswouldnt there be other kings besides russell since there were other player son that team?..id say lebron because of his name and because hes a good dunker
