Is he projected too low on draftnet?

I disagree with Aran’s mock ALOT, but this one I agree with

I dont see Larkin as a top-15 pick that everyone has him

    early-20s seems right for him

Yep…but you should update your mock because you seems like everyone !!!,
IMO he’ll end from 17 to…25, from the first hawks pick (whom anybody can buy easily) to the clipps one (as replacement due to the bledsoe trade waiting to happen).

I think he is better than early 20’s. Could be a steal around 21. He has unlimited range and pulls up quick. Shoots a high percentage. Just lacks height but that’s not new for him. He has good NBA scoring potential. Does need work in other areas like running a halfcourt set, but pick and roll will work all day with him. He competes on D but that will hurt him some.

Larkins in the top 15 was to high. If the jazz want him there is a good chance they can get him at 21

Larkin’s game is impressive, but it’s totally unknown if it can translate to the NBA. There is no one like him in the NBA. Yes, there are a few short players, but none of the NBA’s midgets have such short arms and/or slight frames. At best I think Larkin is a slightly more athletic Ty Lawson, but with less court vision and defense.

I see Larkin very much like I see Gobert. He’s a guy that wows you in some ways, but has major downside risk in areas that are total unknowns. As a Jazz fan I would be disappointed if we picked him at 14, but OK taking him at 21. To me you need to go past 20 before the potential rewards balance out against the obvious downside.

He’s my sleeper pick to be one of the top players out of this draft. Size is definitely gonna hurt him. But he got two important skills. Shooting and running the pick and roll. I’ll take him in the late lottery.
