Lotto StudParticipantThe one player out of Cal’s class this season that made me the proudest throughout his backup role to becoming the bus driver. I wish him nothing but the best and only hope that he continues to flourish at the next level.

ChewyParticipantIf he can learn to shoot at an NBA level, he becomes Michael Carter Williams Delux. That would be a huge advantage to have that size and length at the PG spot.
If he doesn’t learn to shoot, he becomes Michael Carter Williams. Not nearly as exciting/promising.
FYI: Plenty of people have thrown out the Dejuante Murry comparison which I think is a really good one for him.

holefillers1ParticipantFor size and speed, Jrue is a good comp. They both are good with either hand. Jrue was a better shooter. His main problem was shying away from contact when driving to the rim. He would always float away from the rim or settle for pull up Js. I think this is where the MCW comps come in…not overly athletic but will need to get his points off the drive until his shot becomes more reliable. IMO SGA is a better prospect than MCW because his shot isn’t broken. He has a more natural feel for the PG spot than both MCW and Holiday. I think as far as prospects go he is in the Elfrid Payton range going into the draft. Payton hasn’t panned out but I think scouts will view them around the same quality prospects.

mamadouParticipantThat lazy comp with MCW, very very old sophomore, 22yo rookie, inefficient, horrendous shooter with no range outside 10 feets and TO prone for life.
You’re 6’6 you can’t play off the ball at the 2, but you’re not good either at the 1.
SGA is an old 19yo, plays at his own pace, on his terms, seems to know what he’s doing(going to the line a LOT late in the season).
Jrue’s comp ain’t bad in their skill sets, the way they play the game, old school, crafty, all around game, D, the versatility, not the fastest, most athletic guys, but they can play on both ends…

Jr. ROXASParticipantMost Probably: Caris Levert
