Shabazz Muhammad, dude there aren’t many guys in the NBA that I don’t like, but I can’t watch this guy play basketball for five minutes without changing the channel. He reminds me of the guy in pick-up ball that shoots it every time he gets it, doesn’t matter if he’s triple teamed or if he’s at halfcourt, it’s going up.
Dude has a miserable attitude … has never, even once, even thought about making a pass. To anyone.
Doesn’t rebound, doesn’t play a lick of defense, and sure as heck doesn’t pass it. Just shoots it. Every time.
Word is, the Timberwolves don’t even let him inbound the ball on out-of-bounds plays because he might shoot it instead of inbound it.

The evolution of Shabazz on this forum is also hilarious. First compared to Kobe and is the next big thing. Then realise he is no Kobe and give him the Harden comparison. And then finally realise he is Nick Young haha

Did you watch the game tonight? Bazz is by no means a good player at this point, but all indications are that he’s trying to be a great team player.
He’s down to 215 from 240, and usually resists the temptation to play hero ball and instead makes the right play. Tonight he made one mistake by driving into three defenders, but other than that he was decent.
Dude just gave away 140 backpacks to poor kids…he didnt have to do that…so far he doesn’t look much like a selfish player to me. It might be his instinct, but as of now he’s resisting the dark side.

I got bashed like hell, all of the previous Draft year while I introduced the forum to the dislikes of the James "F#ck Defense" Harden comparison. I like how it’s more favorable even now than before. Kudos to the naysayers!

His outside shooting in college looks like it may have been a bit of a fluke and he just gets blocked around the rim too much. His only really good offensive skill is his ability to get offensive rebounds. I never liked him that much. In college he couldn’t even beat anybody off the dribble and had to resort to so many off-balance floaters.

He needs to work on his shot selection but he is what he is. On the Wolves this year if he gets minutes it will be for two things, energy and scoring. It’s not like he’s out there to facilitate. Are there time he should probably pass up the shot to keep the ball moving,? Sure, but if he’s out there playing hard on d and bringing energy I have no problem with him trying to score because that’s his role. I don’t understand why everyone says he has a bad attitude? I watch every Wolves game and since last year I’ve been impressed with how hard he plays. Sometimes he’s out of control and takes bad shots but he plays hard every minute he gets.

He is a terrific rebounder for his size, thats one of his biggest strengths as a player, and sure in the years past he hasn’t been a good enough passer or defender, but he put in work this off season, and so far through the pre season he has played pretty admirably. No he will never be Kobe, and its fine if you don’t like watching him play, but give the guy a break, he’s busting a nut out there.
