NbanflguyParticipantGood thing Reeves Nelson isnt there anymore! Shabazz should have no worries about his clothes being peed on. If I was a recruit that would go in the cons side of picking ucla

HaleParticipantUCLA has some big time talent for this upcoming season.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 1:47pm #658013

Wahoo757ParticipantNo, that’s Nerlens Noel, that’s what he meant by shocking the world. He’ll be taking his talents to the Bakersfield Jam.

OnionsParticipantlol… Wearing a Nike hoodie during his announcment.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 1:49pm #658012

scott3210Participantwatch, he is going to declare to go straight to the D-League.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 1:51pm #658023

PabloFiascoParticipantI told everyone he would go to the school most challenging. But sadly as a Duke fan I am saddening…come on Tony Parker and Amille Jefferson Duke needs you
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 1:53pm #658014

UNCbasketballbumParticipantBen Howland should thank Shabazz for saving his job.

Taylor Gang MikeParticipantMy Dad went to UCLA i had m sources…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 1:55pm #658017

What The DevilParticipantI’m very surprised by this decision honestly
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 1:55pm #658020

Wahoo757ParticipantHa ha. I love his explanation. I feel bad for them, they’re pretty terrible, so I’m going to help them out. This team is now top 10 in my opinion. So in that recruiting predictions thread I’m now 1 for 1 (but knowing me that’ll be the only one I get right, ha ha).
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 1:56pm #658018

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantYEAH!! Kyle Anderson, Josh Smith, Wear Twins, and Shabazz! I’m definitely going to a couple of UCLA games this season!
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 1:56pm #658019

scott3210Participantwell, props to Mike Taylor Gang. He finally made a good prediction.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 1:57pm #658022

NbanflguyParticipantHa ha. I love his explanation. I feel bad for them, they’re pretty terrible, so I’m going to help them out. This team is now top 10 in my opinion.
What a generous guy.

BiggysmallsParticipantWhat will UCLA be ranked now in the preseason? top 5?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 2:00pm #658037

Charlie SheenParticipant$25,000 for a year in LA wit nothin but sexy females and nice weather
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 2:01pm #658029
goneParticipantWow I was unaware Arizona was getting all that next season
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 2:02pm #658031

festar35ParticipantUCLA can return to relevance, Hell yeah!!!
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 2:06pm #658036

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThrow in Larry Drew II, Tyler Lamb, Jordan Adams, hopefully Tony Parker. We’re deep.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 2:06pm #658038

WrecklessParticipantWhat.. Return to dominance.. For a year? But great pickup for UCLA, I picked them. Noel to Georgetown anyone?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 2:08pm #658039
DurantsWingspanThat would be absolutely hilarious if Noel announces he is going to the D-League.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 2:09pm #658041
goneParticipantI’ve been quiet because I’m a g town homer but Noel is comin to us. Hollis is a fool for leaving
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 2:15pm #658044

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantYES make PAC12 more relevant.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 2:16pm #658045
OnionsParticipantNoel is def to G’Town. He’s a great fit there, too. From his offensive skill standpoint.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 2:31pm #658053

uknationParticipantGood pick up for UCLA. Can’t wait to see UCLA vs STANFORD. Noel is going to G’Town

llperezshabazz and kyle anderson along with a good group of returning talent. Its gonna be on for ucla. I wonder if this bumps them ahead of arizona in the recruiting ranks.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 5:16pm #658126

HaleParticipantAccording to ESPN they were still one spot behind Arizona and #3 overall. But Tony Parker would change that.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 8:43pm #658202

Dale WorthingtonParticipantNot trying to playerhate, but wow, he has such a nerdy voice! Sounds like he just came out of a LARPing congregation.
If Larry Drew applies himself then UCLA could definitely return to the Final Four next year. They’re gonna be too legit to quit at the wing and down low. Only question mark is the point. If Drew turds the bed again, like he did last year at UNC, then they’re in trouble b/c I don’t know who else they have that can adequately man the point.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/11/2012 - 9:12pm #658209
jaysmith1987ParticipantThis gurantees he wont be a first overall pick and i wouldnt get to excited if i was a ucla fan because Shabbaz still has to clear the ncaa and the ncaa has been really strict recently. He could have showcased himself better at unlv but hell be a vetter nba player for going to ucla.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 04/12/2012 - 3:57am #658245

HaleParticipantThey’d be better off with Anderson at point then Drew. Drew just isn’t that good, despite what his mother says.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 04/12/2012 - 4:10am #658248
M-EazyParticipantI highly doubt he even plays at UCLA until like 10 games into the season. He just seems like a walking/talking NCAA violation. I just think something with come out about Adidas and Muhammad’s relationship.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 04/12/2012 - 7:27am #658315

JNixonParticipantHe really said he was going there because they were pretty terrible?? Lmao.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 04/12/2012 - 8:54am #658364

Ghost01ParticipantI really like UCLA next year…Shabazz not just givin in to hype at UK, going with his heart and his head.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 04/12/2012 - 1:56pm #658520

Dale WorthingtonParticipantY2G, that would be pimp as all molasses!
Kyle Anderson is 6’8. But it looks like he’s got all the requisite skills to play the point. Coaches just seem to be really hesitant to play someone that tall at the point, but if it were me, I’d be all for it. It’s a mismatch nightmare.
Just look at how it worked out for Ohio State and Evan "The Butter Churner" Turner.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 04/12/2012 - 2:02pm #658523

Dale WorthingtonParticipantOh damn yo!
"Coach Howland says that I will be fighting for the point guard spot, as long as I’m on the court I’ll be good," he said.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 04/12/2012 - 2:47pm #658548

llperez“he really said he he was going there because they were pretty terrible? Lmao”
No he didn’t say that. He said he choose them cause of the coach, the style and it’s a great school. He also said he wanted to help get the turned around.
