Could have a breakout year with the Nets hes a player to watch for. They have the fastest pace in the league and have no problems going 3 gaurds at times. They have also been plagued with injuries and real ones the last few years. They werent fake tanking injuries either so if that continues he may get an oppurtunity to log some big minutes. If your playing fantasy this makes Deangelo Russell extremely valuable because if you pick him and he gets injuried you can easily go ahead and pick up Napier from free agents and replace Russells productivity if he hasnt already broke out.

I hoped he would sign with a team like the Magic who lack point guard depth because the Nets are locked in with their PG rotation. Barring injury, I think he’d be hard-pressed to find playing time over Dlo and Dinwiddie. I really like his game though.

Even with Russell and dinwiddie I think Napier will play a decent amount next season. Both Russell and dinwiddie have the size to guard 2s meaning they could easily both share the floor with Napier. You could conceivably even play all 3 together at times if you wanted to. The nets actually have some pretty good depth but I don’t really think much is locked in with their roster. Whoever plays well will likely see the floor.

It’s so hard to figure out what the Nets rotation is going to be. They have so many guys and none are drastically better or worse than anybody. You have Russell, Dinwiddie, Napier, LeVert, Crabbe, Harris, Carrol, RHJ, Dudley and some rookies all vying for some playing time at the guard/wing position (with several of them able to play the small ball 4). It’s just a really tough team to get a read on that I’m not confident in saying that Napier will or won’t get a lot playing time or not.
