negguaryParticipantThe sixers are in need of a PG and were not able to aquire one via draft day trade. Therefore, they will probably have to aquire one via free agency. In addition to this, Bryan C said they were looking to add a non-conventional pg so that Ben Simmons can play to his strengths. Which leads me to Seth curry!! I believe that he is the guy that fits that build. A vet but not really, only 25, but spent time out of the league or in be d league. He plays good fundamental basketball, showed signs of progress with the Kings, and oh yeah HE CAN SHOOT! The reason I think he’s perfect for the sixers is because you won’t have to pay much for him? But he has the potential to outperform his contract. Brett Browns system is catered to his strengths being as though he wants to play fast, and he spreads the floor giving room for sim sima(Simmons) as well as the bugs to operate! What do my sixers fans as well as good basketball minds think about the sixers signing Seth curry with the shot lol

Memphis MadnessParticipantLike it!
Not even a Sixers fan, but I think they will grow on me.
Philly needs full time shooters — full time point guards not as much.
I am even thinking that Nik Stuaskas will pick his game up.
Go get Seth early on a somewhat bargain 3 or 4 year deal.
Then pick up some deep bench 3 and D guys once the free agent market tanks. Probably mid to late July.
They need to implement a Moneyball approach to fill out their roster, outside of their next few first round picks.
In 3 or 4 weeks they can probably get a guy for $3 million that is not much worse than a guy who will get $8 to $10 million the first few days of free agency.
Just too many guys are free agents, so I don’t care HOW MUCH MONEY teams have, at a certain point the bottom will fall out on the free agent market. Then Philly needs to swoop in and take advantage.

Chilbert arenasParticipantLove the fit with Simmons and the rest of that squad, he’ll get open looks and won’t be required to run the team. Another team that should go after him is the Bucks.

festar35ParticipantI still think he would be a really nice player for the Bucks to get. Much like he would do playing on the ball and off will Simmons, Giannis would be that guy in Milwaukee.
The Bucks need spacing with only Middleton offering it at this point so getting a knock-down shooter like Curry in the line-up would be huge for them.0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/29/2016 - 2:14pm #1078513

phila9012ParticipantI think he would be a good fit. I think a trade option would be to get someone like patrick beverly, an older player who works really hard and plays defense, plus he can shoot threes and is best off the ball. He may not be there for the long haul but having him around would at least bring some energy and defense to the team and help set the tone for the younger players. They need some kind of veteran leaders. Otherwise they are at risk of becoming the kings. It seems like they are treading water and even if simmons becomes a top 5 to 10 player. If the culture doesn’t develop around him he could develop losing habits.

SportsNinjaParticipantNot to be a negative Nancy but he’s a restricted FA for the kings with no pg to start the season. While they’re dumb to have given him a player option in year 2 they won’t be dumb enough not to resign if salary is reasonable.
But I agree on fit! The good thing is there are a lot of non-conventional pgs to choose from.
