Serious LeBron question, If Mike can do it with the flu what will his excuse be this year?

I ask this not to bash LeBron but just to see where his head is at. Almost 90% will argue that Mike had Pippen and Phil but to that I say Wade-Pippen Howard-Jackson. I also think there should be no excuses because he is reaping what he sewed for taking the easy route out. Bulls were stacked and Bosh out with Wade not being 100% is understandable. Hard work pays off and that’s why he has got to go harder because it’s too late for him to want to mope about leaving Cleveland.

Although he is playing the little brother role his numbers are crazy 28 8 8 and 3 I believe which leads me to believe he has peaked as an NBA Superstar. What I say LeBron lacks is that killer instinct that Kobe and Mike has/had. Even though it took for Kobe to get his instinct from Shaq because he had to sit behind Ceballos and Jones he tapped into it which is what LeBron has to do. It’s so crazy because indeed LeBron his a humble guy it’s just that he got caught up in the lime light at such an early age and now he wants to fulfill it.

My personal opinion is that he NEEDS John Thompson in his life right now. Everyone talks about how players are reaching out to The Dream but I really do think he needs to reach out to Mr. Thompson. John Thompson is like te father figure every black athlete has never had. I just wish this could some how break wind to LeBron so he can see who he needs to reach out to. It worked for Ierson coming out of jail and it also worked for KG leaving Minnesota leading up to his first err NBA title.

Wait a second, are you comparing Phil Jackson to Juwan Howard? Really now?

And Lebron does not have an attitude or presonal problem, I don’t think he needs any mental help, Hakeem is the person he needs to work with day and night.

And as an athlete, yes he’s peaked, as a player production wise, you could say this is his peak, but as a player talent wise, he still has so much more to learn, low post game, high post game, playing off the ball, he can stil help a team in so many different ways, he’s jsut so good I feel that we take him for granted, when he retires everyone is finally going to realize how great of a talent and teammate this guy was, because not a lot of superstars let Udonis Haslem take an open shot for the win. That shot was side open.

How is he "playing the little brother role?"  He is carrying the Heat right now.  The Heat are struggling, but LeBron James’ play isn’t the problem.  They lack any interior scoring without Bosh, and even with Bosh, they didn’t seem to even attempt to get any scoring from their bigs in the post.  They also don’t seem to run the seconary break nearly as well as they should.  I feel like they should get more transition threes and delayed break drives to the rim.  Those problems come from their lack of a true pg, in my opinion.  You can criticize LeBron for not being a pg, but at a certain point the whole team has to be held accountable, not just LeBron.

^Whoa there, he’s gotta win 1 in Miami before he goes running back to Cleveland, some say he needs to cement a legacy, a dynasty meaing 3 championships there to have the right to leave, but I think at this point 1 would be a big accomplishment, but he can opt out in 2014, the same summer Irving will first be eligible for an extension, meaning if he wants to, he could form a real dream team there and Cleveland would have the cap to do so.

John Thompson and George Town University only backed up Iverson because he was going to join their Team, I don’t remember Thompson’s influence on Iverson in Philadelphia(there are alot of rumors about AI being a supplier here and in Bad News VA)

What Lebron needs is to Opt out of His Contract and go running back to Cleveland Ohio, beg Dan Gilbert and The Fans for forgiveness and hope he Kyrie/Thompson/Varejoe and The 2012 Draft Picks can win a Ring before he’s past his prime

In all fairness, The Question should not be "What should Lebron do next" , he’s a lost cause at this point, he may win a Championship in Miami, but it won’t be the number they were rattling off when they signed in the summer of Lebron

Everything from this point out will get magified by 10, he’s had 2 years with the Big 3, they’ve digressed since last season and Wade isn’t getting any younger, Bosh was the glue that held this together and with him down they are completly exposed for teh squad they truely are

The Heat have 2 years before this Blows up in their faces(If they haven’t admitted it has already)

Then Lebron will have to make another "Decision" , stay in Miami with an aging and injury prone Wade thus showing more loyalty to 1 man over The City/State he was born/raised/loved and idolized…He would be choosing to side with the fair weather flock of Fans in Florida over the heart broken Die Hards in Ohio all over again…

Lebron will be forever remembered as the Hall of Famer who tried to take the Short Cut to an NBA Championship, the basketball gods are cruel indeed, he may never win a Championship in the way he promised …

"Not 1, not 2, not 3, …Not 4, not 5, not 6"…LOL HeyLebron fans, is he still winning 6 rings…He’s never gonna match Kobe’s 5 either IMO…Duncan has 4 as we speak and Lebron will have a hard time matching that as well…

Lebron is not the problem with the Heat.  Spo is as overrated a coach as you will ever see , he is very similar to Mike Brown in that he sucks at making adjustments.  Riley is an average executive and this team is simply poorly constructed.  Build your team with depth through the draft and scouting and learn your lesson Riley that you can’t just win with 2-3 guys.  Trade Wade and bring in someone who meshes well with Bosh and James rather than keeping Wade who is essentially a 6’4 version of Lebron who is physically going to be on the decline health wise going forward.  Bring in Steve Nash if you can and add some defensive size to the front line so you can not waste Lebron’s best years with inadequate players.

I’m sayin Juwan Howard is that vet he needs to give him the in’s & outs. How can LeBron Wade or Bosh take Spoelstra serious when he has no on court experience as a Head Coach? How does that look that you have 3 of the leagues top performers and can’t assist them or have them back lash at you for inexperience. Wade wouldn’t have snapped at Doc Rivers etc.

Just think like I said its bigger then LeBron. He can score 50 today and they still may lose which shows that he is being overworked. They don’t need to fill the team with 4 &5 vets they just need a TRUE floor general and an EXPERIENCED Head Coach who the Big 3 will respect and buy into his system.

Wade has no respect so unless they trade him The team will follow his lead, Lebron has no back bone and will never put Wade in his place ala Jordan torching Pippen in practice, Bosh is also too passive to ever rock the boat and demand a bigger role(not complain about getting more touches to the media)

Example, when Shaq wanted the ball he would demand it, if you kept ignoring Shaq you were body slammed in practiced and reminded of who the Big man is on the Team

@Aamir, The Heat are NOT winning 3 Championships by 2014 so yeah he’s gone unless they can manage to steal one in that time span…

You seem to forget Jordan had Rodman, Kukoc, Harper, Longley, Kerr, Wennington, Brown, Caffey for the 2nd 3peat.

Miami doesn’t have role players as good as them Chalmers, Battier, Haslem, Anthony, Miller aren’t that good especially now.

What has Juwan Howard done thats so great he was part of the Fab Five and that trade when his huge expiring was moved.
