I totally forgot about this gem of a pick by the Oklahoma City Thunder… I saw his game for the first time against the Suns and he intrigued me almost immediately… Why? He’s got skills and potential to be somethin really good for OKC. He scored 10 points and 6 rebounds not to mention that unforgiving block against Grant Hill… He’s definitely adding up the 2008 Draft Class (Though he will be a rookie this year) as a special special class along with the 2003, 1996 and 1984… He reminded me of Tyrus Thomas with a better jumpshot… Though he is still raw and far from being a finished product… He will defnitely bring excitement to OKC fans…

and very smart draft team
i remember on draft night 2008, people projected westbrook 7-10
they picked him up earlier than expected
and could be one of if not the best player of the draft.

Take Note, I am no Thunder fan but I am pretty much excited about your team… They have so much potential and I think they are the team to watch out for this coming season… They’re going to have to fight hard to survive in the tough Western Conference but I can see the future of this team as bright as Shaq’s bald dome… I mean, look, you got Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Serge Ibaka and I can’t fail to mention about Jeff Green plus you got prospects like Kyle Weaver and BJ Mullens plus Thabo Sefolosha… Man o man… Mark my words, the Thunder will be the deadliest team in 2 to 3 years if they continue to make smart decisions…

yeah i think serge has the potential to be a lesser olajuwon, obviously doesn’t have the post game yet, but has a great jumper, is very athletic. if he puts it together and continues to grow, i see all-star potential. check his videos out on youtube.

I love the team they are building, I also watched the Pheonix game and Ibaka was real good, very exited to see Durant and Westbrook next year too

I dont think he’s tyrus thomas but hes pretty darn close. I thought this was a great pick becuase they could keep him in eurpoe and h wouldnt get on their salary cap untill they decided to bring him over, he brings large chunk of athleticism to the team and will be a transition starter with his blks and a transistion finisher with his dunks

i have seen him play and he will be nice. They have him listed as Center. I wonder if Green is going to the bench now because Nenad Kristic and this guy should be starting. Green could play a Odom type role and give the OKC a strong scorer off the bench and versatile player.

Greens going to start…I get the parallels to Odom but hes their future… It would make more sense to have Ibaka as a high energy guy

I like Ibaka’s game, he needs polish but he’ll be a good little player in the near future blocking shots and making electrifying dunks..

he is going to be a great player. The Man can fly 1 “offical” blacked shot 2 goaltending hits. Hes a prospect but a VERY promiseing defensive prospect for the Thunder

ok lets not get out of hand..thi guy isnt better then green and wont start over him. theres no way he sege should be starting but he i a good prospect
