montauriush4ParticipantTo me Scotty Hopson can be a good player if he just work hard. I think he should go to team that will make him work or that has a coach that can help him. He can be a 2 round steal if he work on his game everyday
Teams
Bulls- Tibbs will make him work
Celtics- Doc will help him out alot
Spurs- Can learn alot from the vet on their team
Mavericks- Can learn alot
Thunder- Can player with a lot of young guy just like him

knicksfan7ParticipantI don’t see any of those teams taking him simply because he doesn’t work hard and is too full of himself. No team is going to take him to deal with the headache of a player who at best would start in this league, and by saying start even I could be stretching it.

omphalosParticipantI could see him working out with the Thunder, when they move Harden to the starting spot next season they’ll need someone on the bench who can score and Hopson brings that at least.

JNixonParticipantHopson did make some strides as a Jr., so I don’t think it’s fair to say he doesn’t work. He’s a work in progress in terms of his attitude, ball-handling and defense but the guy does have the potential to be a decent instant offense type off the bench in the future. I see him as a Von Wafer type of prospect. Wafer had to get his attitude better before he lasted in the NBA and had that "breakthrough" season in Houston about 2 or 3 seasons back. It’s all about the niche and what teams need with guys like Hopson, so he’ll have to really make the most of opportunities with teams to be the best pro he can be.
