Jon Scheyer has accepted an offer to go to training camp with the Los Angeles Clippers, a league source told FanHouse.

The Clippers currently have 14 players on their roster, one short of the league maximum, though the contracts of both second-round pick Willie Warren and free agent signee Marqus Blakely are only partially guaranteed.

I highly, highly doubt he makes the roster. Bdiddy and Eric Gordon are obviously the starters and for backup guards Randy Foye, Eric Bledsoe,  and Willie Warren are all projected to be in the rotation or at least be on the roster. 5 guards seems like enough for me and since they are all short another short guard is not needed. Rasual Butler can swing and play some 2 guard so that’s already 6 guards. Then they have a ton of SF’s. They are thin in the front line behind Griffin and Kaman with basically only Deandre Jordan, so yeah last roster spots will go to bigs. Them signing Jarron Collins shows how badly they need more bigs.

Maybe he likes the Bakersfield Jam more than the Utah Flash?
