According to the player ratings in 2k12, the worst players are nbadraft.net darling Brian Scalabrine and Byron Mullens, both coming in at a cool 40.

From the article:

"That honor goes to the Bulls’ Brian Scalabrine and the Thunder’s Byron Mullens, both of whom have overall ratings of 40 in this year’s iteration of the game. For reference, a 40 means that a player can barely walk two steps without turning the ball over, rolling an ankle and losing several hundred thousand dollars in a bad investing deal."

What is sad is that a rating of 40 is either (a) way too high for Mullens or (b) an underrating of Scal.

Scal can at least shoot the ball. Mullens right now has no redeeming qualities. I never thought I would see the day when Mullens is overrated and Scal is undervalued.

There was a typo the real avg for scal was a 400, and Bj a 4.

Fun Fact too- this is the first and only time BJ will be mentioned with a future hall of famer such as  Scal.

 I remember this one sick play where Scalabrine swished a 3 pointer fading away out of bounds, but it was unfortunately during stoppage time right after a foul was called……

In that video, that was Rondo’s fault. With limited time on the clock, he should’ve expected Scal to lead pass him. I mean, they teach you that in high school.

It’s called a lead pass… The point guard isn’t supposed to just stand there…  He’s supposed to get a running start and then the player passing the ball in is supposed to lead him.

They teach you that in high school. I mean, I was taught that in 7th grade.

Yeah your suppose to throw a lead pass so he can start moving with the ball not make him chase after the ball

Derrick Rose does that every single play, even when there isn’t like 2 seconds left on the clock. He’s always looking to get the lead pass.

It’s much faster to catch a ball on the run then to just stand there, catch and then go. Scal was thinking right.

But you gotta have some communication with your PG before you actually pass the ball, the guy inbounding the ball has to make sure that the PG knows the lead pass is coming because HE IS in command of the ball. Otherwise, that play happens.

Yeah if the guy isn’t moving anywhere and is calling for the ball from where he is, then you shouldn’t just pass to open space. Plus why would you give someone a lead pass further into the corner and towards a defender?

Why would Rondo just stand there flat footed with 4 seconds on the clock? I mean, he’s fast, but not that fast.

Scal was clearly trying to lead him up the baseline to at least get a good shot. It was a miscommunication, but I’m saying Scal was thinking right… He was doing something coaches have probably been teaching since the day Dr. James Naismith hung up the peach basket. I mean, Bob Cousy even knew to run and get the lead pass.
