scootover7ParticipantThe Sacramento Kings I feel have some pieces in place. They have DeMarcus Cousins, Jason Thompson, Omri Casspi and Tyreke Evans. I feel this team needs a point guard that is better than Beno Udrih. Here are a list of some of the players I feel that the Kings should take and these are not necessarily in any order either.
1) Kemba Walker- I know this guy may possibly wreck the chemistry of this team. I do feel though that he will be a good scorer. I just hope he doesn’t do a Russell Westbrook and jack up 30 shots a game unless of course he makes 15 to 20 of them. I do like his quickness though. I don’t really like Udrih as a starting point guard and would rather see Udrih come off the bench or be traded for a better one
2) Jan Vesely- I know what your thinking Vesely again? Good grief. I feel Vesely will be better than Donte Greene is. Vesely can play either forward position and can score.
3) Enes Kanter- not likely he will be here but could be a good pick. I personally feel that Jason Thompson would be more like a Lamar Odom off the bench. Kanter could help in the post with DeMarcus Cousins.
) Alec Burks- a 6 ft 6 combo guard who could help. I know what your thinking there is already one 6 ft 6 guard. Well I don’t feel that Burks would be as bad as Walker and I think would share the ball with Tyreke.
5) Kawhi Leonard – a solid defender who plays with high energy. I think he could fit well here and even possibly right now as a sixth man coming off the bench to bring energy. Can give Omri Casspi a rest.
those are the five players I feel the Kings should take. Another possibly I heard is that the Kings were trying to go for Raymond Felton. Im wondering if the Kings trade the pick and maybe Donte Greene and Beno Udrih for Felton. Im not really sure who the Kings should trade as far as a player to maybe make the contracts match. I would like to see the Kings improve there team and I feel the right player could really help this team out.

SealioParticipantThe Kings need to find a way to trade up and get Knight. I think Kemba or Jimmer could work with Tyreke but i feel that Knight has huge potential and would be a great fit on the Kings.
Also the Kings need to go out and try to get some free agents. I know a lot of players don’t want to go to Sacramento, but a player like Wilson Chandler would be a great fit on the Kings and solidify the SF spot. A starting lineup of Draft PG (Knight or Kemba) – Tyreke – Chandler – Thompson – Cousins would at least be athletic and should put up a fight. Also you would have Thornton coming off the bench and he played great for the Kings last year.
We’ll see what happens on thursday but they definitely need to fill the PG or SF spot.

NiceWithTheRockParticipantI saw on Hoopshype that they were talking to Denver about swapping the pick for Felton. This would work for both teams as SAC needs a quality pg and DEN can use the pick to get a big man since K-Mart is a free agent and Nene has the early termination option. Just a rumor so far but I think it holds water.

B FreeParticipantI know this is gonna sound crazy but I think that Knight will fall to 7..
1st Kyrie Irving
2nd Minnesota takes Derrick Williams, They could take Kanter and it would still work out.
3rd. This is where I see it happening I think Utah will take Alec Burks, I just dont see him making it to 12 and his versitlity and the fact that they have Devin Harris will make them pass on Knight.
4th Kanter or Williams who ever doesn’t go at four.
5th Kawli Leonard, they have Bayless who is still young and has some potential still, and the idea of bringing in some defense to change the culture in Toronto makes sense and creates a formidable duo on the wings.
6th They have Wall and Jordan Crawford. I think they take Vesely here.
So if no one trades up I think they have a chance at get Knight.
To be fair I personly don’t like knight that much so that might be why I see him falling to 7.

JoeWolf1robertfreeman, you’re saying Utah will take Alec Burks before Enes Kanter or Derrick Williams? I think the earliest he could go is #9 to Charlotte and the furthest he’ll fall is #13 to Pheonix. He’s just not a top 3 pick, even in this draft.
I don’t think Devin Harris is really a part of their future, I really think he was just someone to try to help fill the void left by Deron Williams. I don’t see them passing on a guy with the potential as Knight, and Knight is really high on Toronto’s list too.

durantula83ParticipantNo way Knight will slip past the Raptors. I had Valanciunas going to the Raptors but his contract issues will cost him dearly, maybe he’ll even drop up to 10 spots. If the Raptors are going to hold onto Bayless then I don’t see them drafting Walker, so probably either Leonard or Vesely if they don’t trade the pick. Who knows, Biyombo if his last workout goes well.
As for the Sacramento Kings, I have a strong feeling they will go after Fredette. He had a monster workout with the Kings, and blew the Maloofs away. After the workout there was only one player they were talking with and that was Jimmer. Fredette has something about him that appeals to alot of people and will fill alot of seats in Sac-Town, he can bring the major excitement back that’s been lacking since the White Chocolate days.
