jacobkeyParticipantRuss is throwing a party tonight here in OKC with PG in attendance. Guests have reportedly been required to sign a non disclosure agreement. Obviously, the implication is pretty clear. If he does sign and for the sake of argument, the Spurs don’t get a trade offer they like and decide to go into the season with Kawhi in their roster, what does LeBron do?
I can’t see him going to the Lakers at that point. Houston maybe but they’d have to gut the roster so much to afford him. Philly maybe but I don’t know how he and Simmons fit together. He could stay in Cleveland but what’s the realistic path to drastically improving that roster? I don’t see a great move for him unless the Lakers or Sixers work a deal for Kawhi. Thoughts?

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantCould it be that they are confident they will get kawhi and would not be able to pay him if they arnt able to move Deng.

ZouldiersParticipantLebron’s priority is his family so I do think he ends up in LA regardless.

halfdecayedParticipantLebron is going to LA.. Ingram Randle Kuzma Hart and Lonzo is simply more enticing than whatever Cleveland has.. CP3 and Cousins are also possibilities. They’ll have cash to spend next summer.

CynthiaParticipantNo it’s really not more enticing. I find it hard to believe LeBron wants to play with a bunch of unproven kids. Yes they’re good and they may be really good in a few years but he isn’t getting any younger and he doesn’t want to babysit.

jacobkeyParticipantI would think any situation that would get him to move his family and at this stage in his career would have to be miles better than the Cleveland situation. LeBron on LAL without any other big moves is 3rd in the West at best maybe 4-7. Might as well stay in Cleveland and have an easier run at the finals and keep your family home.

jacobkeyParticipantIf they trade for Kawhi or sign CP3 or Cousins maybe it’s a different story.

The GoatParticipantPG has now recommitted to OKC according to ESPN. Will anyone for the love of God take Carmelo? I guess the answer to that is no, which means Carmelo really will turn into a stretch 4.. Stretched over 4 years lol
