gatorheelsParticipantCavs are trying to decide between Joe Smith, Steve Novak, Rob Kurz, & Leon Powe. Who do you think they should sign? I like Leon Powe the best.
The Nuggets officially picked up Allen from Milwaukee for forwards Weems and Sharpe, the team said Friday.
Renardo Sidney is thinking about going to Europe. I think this would be a mistake. He makes Miss St a very good team.
Kurt Rambis is going to be the TWolves new head coach. He hasn’t been named the coach yet but this is the rumor.
Ollie’s addition, however, now brings into question whether the Thunder will re-sign forward Desmond Mason. The Thunder’s roster now contains 14 guaranteed contract players, indicating Oklahoma City could be done acquiring players this off-season.
Knicks interested in Jason Williams, Tinsley, Iverson, & Sessions. Who is the best option for them? I hope they sign Sessions.
Brian Scalabrine says the Celtics are now the best team in the league.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI like Powe the best, but are his knees healthy? I think they should re-sign Smith or go w/ Novak. Novak is 6′ 10″ and is arguably the best 3P shooter in the NBA that nobody knows about.
I think Rambis will be a great head coach, but I’m surprised he took this job. Phil is a threat to retire after any given season and I’m sure Rambis was next in line to become head coach.
Yea, I doubt Mason will be back with the Thunder. Hopefully he can get healthy and another team will sign him. I think he still has some game left.
I think Sessions would be the best choice, but the Knicks are being cheap. I wouldn’t be surprised if they signed either Williams or Tinsley.
Scal may be right if KG is 100% healthy.

B-ball fanParticipantHe is a great off. rebounder, and shoots more free throws per min. than any other nba player.

B-ball fanParticipantI hope his knees are good, but doesn’t rely on athleticism, more on strength and quickness so he should be fine. He needs to develop a turnaround jumper though. He already can overpower defenders when he goes right. Improving his midrange jumper would also help. he could be a really good player.

IndianaBasketballParticipantKnees just don’t affect athleticism… They affect your side to side/front to back quickness, etc. Will he be able to cut/plant/explode the same, etc? You have to wonder about his mentality/confidence because he’s had A LOT of knee injuries. If he’s healthy though, I’d def. sign him.

JNixonParticipantI think the Cavs should get Novak. Talk about a ridiculous jumper. Its like cash in the bank. And so does Kurz, but I’d take Novak. He’s Matt Bullard 2.0. I think Powe would have a hard time playing with all the money they forked to Varejao.
I think both Sonny Weems and Walter Sharpe have potential, but I dont think they’ll fulfill it in time to play in the NBA.
Renardo Sidney does make Mississippi State a good team, but he might not be dedicated. I like his talent, but I think he’s too lazy.
Kurt Rambis would make a good head coach, but he would go through a huge adjustment period in Minny of course.
Let Desmond Mason walk. He wont make them a better team.
Session and Iverson would both be fantastic fits for them. They should get A.I for 1 year, and Sessions for 3 to 4 years.
Whatever Scalabrine says, I believe and that settles it lol. But the Celtics may have a good squad, I see them returning to the Finals, but the Lakers will win with the toughness of Artest getting them to not back down.

eprizzle14ParticipantCavs- Kurz based on the fact I think he can match up with Reshard the best out of the group.
I like Walter Sharpe
Sidney is a slob who plays on the perimeter too much

FutureoftheGameI think the Cavs need Novak. They need a PF that will get the hell out of the way and let Shaq and Lebron play inside. Novak, like someone said earlier, is very very deadly and very unknown. He can very easily be what Kapono was for the Heat when they won it all.

Knicksboy34ParticipantThe Cavs should add Smith and Kurz. I like Novak but all he can do is shoot. Smith and Kurz behind AJ will be solid. Kapono didnt play alot for the Heat during the title run, but i understand what your’e saying.

FutureoftheGameI know but he and Posey were very important to the team winning because they knew their roles and accepted them.. They came in, did what they were asked, won, and got out. Becuse of it, Kapono got a pretty good deal from the Raptors. I could see Novak doing the same thing.

JNixonParticipantAll Kurz can do is shoot too. Joe Smith is mostly a mid range pick and pop guy as well, and if I had to choose between the 3 as big bodied shooters, it would definitely be Novak.
