juves4783Participanthere’s a couple rumors from insider today:
1. demarcus cousins’ agent isn’t sending cousins to minnesota for a workout because he strongly believe the t-wolves are picking wes johnson.
2. the kings and pistons are looking at this possible deal: tayshaun prince and the no. 7 for andres nocioni and the no. 5. (my thoughts: pistons want cousins, kings would take monroe who they’ve likened to vlade divac.)

blackflash234ParticipantThe trade of Prince and the 7th for Nocioni and the 5th could go down but the problem is that Golden State stands in the way of the Kings taking Greg Monroe. Golden State sorely lack a real presence down low and taking Whiteside might be a bit of a stretch for them.

wesleymatthews23ParticipantThat is very true blackflash but Sacramento can still stand to draft 7th instead of 5th, because if the Warriors do select Monroe, then the Kings can fill up their hole at the 3 and select Aminu. Greene nor Casspi have earned that starting 3 so they could try and fill it with Aminu. But I expect the Warriors to select Aminu because they intend to use Randolph as a four and they are tired of Maggete and would like to get rid of him.

dmo21Participantanother problem i see with that is if the warriors do take monroe and the kings draft aminu, then they have casspi, greene, aminu, and the newly acquired prince who is the best out of all of them at the sf position..
i think the best bet for the kings is to draft cousins and then see what the warrioirs do and have detroit pick for them and then make the trade. If GS picks monroe, trade cousins and nocioni for aminu and maxiell. If GS picks aminu, trade cousins and nocioni for monroe and prince.

esperanzafleet69Participantthe warriors still have anthony randolph and could still get a good defensive presence to put beside him with their pick… however i think golden state would be far better off picking aminu

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI’ve compared Greg Monroe to Vlade for months now.
I think that’s a good deal if it happens, both players need a restart

Charlie SheenParticipantPistons getting Cousins and Nocioni would help them clear cap space fpr 2011 I think they’ll also try and move Rip. Stuckey and Charlie V they have their eye on Carmelo so this would dump salary plus get a building block in Cousins to add with Ben Gordon. I doubt the Warriors draft Cousins if he’s available Whiteside fits but is a reach Monroe is a good fit in GS or Mo Townso I see it as
5. Cousins- S&T Detroit
6. Whiteside- Curry and Whiteside= Paul and Chandler run and gun style perfect fit
7. Monroe- S&T Sacramento0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/14/2010 - 11:18am #332164
