White ChocolateParticipantThe latest rumor is the Knicks sign and trade David Lee to the Jazz for Carlos Boozer. I think it would be a good deal for both sides. The Knicks get a PF that would fit in will D’Antoni and the Jazz get a hard working SF/PF. http://www.deseretnews.com/article/7…David-Lee.html
Jazz Starting Line-Up(if this trade happens)
PG Deron Williams

MagikKnickParticipantDavid Lee is no SF
But Sessions/Hughes/Chandler/Boozer/Milicic works for me

j1232eParticipantwants 8-12 mill a year. utah is trying to save money. good trade for both teams though.

BasketballGuru24Participantmillsap or lee can’t play SF……Korver will probably start and one of them will be 6th man

Knicksboy34ParticipantI agree with Both
-Lee is too slow to be a SF
-This Trade would boast the Knicks into the playoffs

j1232eParticipantis a 2 gaurd. they have cj miles AK and mattharpring at the 3. Millsap has played some 3 last season with okur at center boozer power foeward and millsap small forward in my opinion they were tough.

Knicksboy34ParticipantAlso, The Knicks lineup with Boozer would be
PG- Ramon Sessions
SG- Wilson Chandler
SF- Danillo Gallinari
PF- Carlos Boozer
C-Eddy Curry or Darko0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/25/2009 - 9:51am #190085
bkballerParticipantI would be for this trade as a knick fan even though its a gamble with boozer’s health. However i can’t see the Jazz making moves with the knicks when they have their first round pick. How bad will it look if boozer stays healthy and helps the knicks make the playoffs.

bkballerParticipantPlus David Lee is Paul Millsap I can’t see the Jazz wanting twins on their team

doubledribblerParticipantI hope this trade doesn’t go through. It seems kind of pointless for Utah to pay all of this money to Lee and Milsapp since both guys are best at the 4 spot. If they want Boozer gone that badly they can do what Indiana did with Tinsley. I guarantee they could get rid of him by the trade deadline to a team making a playoff push.
Boozer is a great gamble for NY, especially if they don’t have to give up much. They can see if he’s what they want and no matter what he still helps them compete for this year. Worst case is that they lose him at the end of the year and have his money to spend. I guarantee he stays healthy this year and probably puts up big numbers because he wants to get paid.
My opinion of the guy is that if he’s your 3rd option then you probably have a championship contending team.

White ChocolateParticipantOh I forgot the Knicks got Milicic I was wondering why I had such a hard time finding a starting center on the Knicks. Sessions/Hughes/Chandler/Boozer/Milicic works for me too and Williams/Brewer/Korver/Lee/Okur 6th Man: Millsap works for me.

j1232eParticipantwould start over lee. also cj miles or andre kireleko would start over korver.
c okur backup kosta koufus ,fezenko
pf millsap david lee
sf AK cj miles, matt harpring
sg brewer korver
pg dwill ronnie price, eric maynor0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/25/2009 - 10:21am #190101

Knicksboy34ParticipantIf the Jazz do that deal, I would try to move Okur.
How about this?
Okur and AK47 for T-mac and Landry?

j1232eParticipantokur ak 47 for tmac and scola.

R-Dot-13Participanti think adding to the deal scola may be too much for houston

j1232eParticipantokur is a fan favorite in utah, i don’t really see him getting traded unless it really helps utah.

bkballerParticipantUtah would love david lee, he isnt the most talented player, but he has a lot of heart and plays really hard. I know a lot of people give him a hard time for his defense but he played all season out of position trying to defend guys a lot bigger than him. I think him in his natural position he would be able to hold his own on defense. I really believe that he would quickly become a fan favorite in Utah like he did in New York, both places seem to really like hard working blue collar guys.

Knicksboy34ParticipantHear me out on this…..4 team Trade
Portland-New York-Utah-Houston
Portland gets- Wilson Chandler, Luis Scola and 2010 2nd rounder (Utah)
New York gets- Carlos Boozer, Jerryd Bayless and 2010 2nd round pick (Houston)
Utah gets- David Lee, Carl Landry and Tracy McGrady
Houston gets- Andrei Kirelnko and Memet Okur (sry bout spelling)
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/25/2009 - 11:58am #190133
j1232eParticipantI do think portland would have to give up more than bayless. maybe outlaw or webster also. probably to utah because utah are giving up 3 former alstars.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/25/2009 - 12:26pm #190137
bkballerParticipanti agree portland gives up too little for what new york and utah are giving. If boozer for lee is a fair deal then wilson should get more than just bayless since wilson is more proven.
