HobbyOGParticipantIt’s a rumor out of the Chicago Sun, you think they should look to trade him? Where do you think he would be a good fit?

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantI could see the Knicks trying to trade for him. He is from NY and would fit the triangle well. What they could offer Chicago for him, I’m not exactly sure.

mgreener_34ParticipantInteresting. I know he’s shown a steady decline, but he’s still a good player in this league with his ability to pass the ball and switch on pick and rolls. I think his offense is very limited, and he’s no longer the elite defender he used to be, but on the right team he could be awesome.
I think a good fit for him would honestly be the Bucks. He would fit into their long-armed switcheroo theme, and his passing would help their offense as well. He would also provide leadership that they could learn from and follow. #17, Henson, and Ersan would work salary wise, and would give them depth if they are looking to get rid of Gibson too.
Trade him to the Celtics for #16, Zeller, and Wallace’s contract?
Who knows, hard to gage the value of a declining center who only scored 7 ppg last year, and has never played a full season in 8 years

Bed HeadParticipantThough I would have liked it a lot more last season (before he became all banged up and his performance plummeted).
How about NY sends Chicago the unbelievably spectacular package of Jose Calderon and Jason Smith (signed-&-traded)? But before you say, "WTF are you smoking?!", check out some of Smith’s smooth moves:
Also, according to ESPN’s Trade Machine, the John Hollinger replicant seemed to think it was a pretty fair deal, actually.

Ny2daDeathOFmeParticipantAfter reading the Article, it seems like the bulls are more interested in cap room more than anything so they can give Butler the Max and sign Marc gasol or one of the other notible bigs in this year free agency. If this turns out to be true than i would definitely be all for the knicks giving up some cap room to take on Noah. I’m sure the Knicks would give up some 2nd rounders and Tim Harderway Jr if need be (i rather give up larkin who could be a good back up for the bulls).

DolanCareParticipantThe Bulls are at a serious crossroads right now. Do they stick with the core they have now? Or do they retool in a way that means giving up on some of their important players? If I’m the Bulls, everyone on the team is tradable with the exception of Butler.
Gasol would be tough to move as he’s on a decent contract, but considering his age I think he’s absolutely tradable with they can get big with long-term potentia. DRose, on a more hefty contract, should be move if the Bulls can get back a haul with an established player.
It’s a serious decision that shouldn’t be taken lightly. The questions are, are the Bulls close to winning a championship with the squad on hand? I say no, but then again they are one LBJ injury (god forbid) from being in the Finals. The second question is, can DRose continue to stay healthy?…. it’s far from impossible but if I’m management, I would consider trading him to a team that is more optimistic than I.

Memphis MadnessParticipantI would take Noah, Taj Gibson, Doug McDermott, and the 22nd pick for Marc Gasol and Vince Carter.
The Bulls retool a bit and have a really good core that fits: Derrick Rose, Tony Snell, Jimmy Butler, Pau Gasol, and Marc Gasol with Mirotic as the 6th man. Vince Carter had a bad year but he still might have some gas left in the tank as another scoring option off the bench. At 25 they can look for a backup point guard or backup center.

OhCanada-ParticipantIts definitely Aldridge they are after. Aldridge was in that picture with Butler in the club which means nothing but adds to speculation. He is likely the only elite big that will be on the open market as Gasol seems dedicated to Memphis. Moving to the weaker Eastern conference where he could dominate only makes sense and he would have a ton of bits around him able to contribute which is somwrhing he has always wanted.

HitsterParticipantNoah had a quieter year this season but is only one year removed from being DPOY. Teams always value quality big men and Noah can still do an excellent job for a contending team similar to what Bogut does for GSW.
The problem the Bulls have is as they are seen as a contending team they would be loathe to help another contender by giving Noah away for less than he is worth and another contending team would not want to give the Bulls too generous a package.
I quite like the idea of him going to Boston, they have a stack of picks and can offer up Crash’s expiring deal.
The Bulls are at the crossroads they have good younger players like Butler but need to make the most out of Pau Gasol etc at the moment.
Knicks would be another nice fit but what can they offer up?

ExumInfernoParticipantNoah might fit right in the Rondo trade exception the Celtics have. Not sure how his age fits in with their roster, but his defense and passing fits. The Bulls would free up a lot of money, not sure what draft picks or players they would expect back.
If M Gasol does want out, then Memphis should ask for Noah and arrange a sign-and-trade with the Bulls so the Gasol brothers can be on the same team, rather than letting M Gasol go somewhere like NYC and Memphis get nothing.
The money might be too hard to work, but Noah at OKC would be a good fit. The point guard likes to shoot, as does Durant, so Noah passing from the post would enable the scorers there to get their shots.

MadDogParticipantThis is such a Thibs era Bulls move. I know he got fired but the whole "play a great player 40 minutes a game before he’s completely drained and then dump him" mentality is definitely a remnant of him. Boozer, Deng and now Noah apparently. Not fair to the players, treating them like commodities.
