Rudy Gay is busting out this year. He is shooting 50% (5% higher than last year) and 37% from 3 (2% higher than last year), he is scoring 22 ppg (2 more than last year), he is grabbing 6.7 rpg ( 1.2 more than last year), and he has raised his steal numbers, assists, free throw %, and cut down on his turnovers and fouls. What do u think, is it a step towards his all-star potential, or is it just a hot start?

Gay is very good, but I wouldn’t say he is busting out. He needs to put up those numbers on a winner for me to get real excited about him.

Gay had a sick behind the backboard shot a season or two ago. But he was falling out of bounds and threw it up off balance. Kobe actually focused and put touch on it like he meant to make it. But comparing over the backboard shots is kind of like comparing full court shots, it’s all good for both guys.

he’s playing very well. it’s going to be hard for him to make all star with mello playing well and durant easily ahead of him. I’m happy to say that gay is passing very well, even if it isn’t showing up in his stats, and he is taking better shots, making putback dunks lunk like highlight reels.
