blake is out 3-4 weeks due to a right shoulder strain suffered in the summer league.

    and rubio…
    man..
did yall know he could sit out this year of ball and RE ENTER…..

YES RE ENTER the nba draft?
man if he does this i hope the nba doesnt allow him to re enter.
that wouldnt be right for the Wolves.

if Rubio does this that would be absolute BS IMO. i thought the Twolves have his rights but i could easily be wrong. The NBA can’t allow this to happen. When was the BG injury announced?

yeah they would lose his rights,,,and that would jus be awful for the timberwolves becuase they wouldve jus wasted a huge pick,,,cuz i dont think that the NBA doesnt do anything like MLB and give them a compensation pick for not bein able to sign a player

next year? I call bs on that one. No one has ever re-entered a draft, it’s one opportunity, and that’s it. If you don’t come over, the team that drafted you holds your rights permanently.

    prevent him from re entering.

because they would have given the Wizards Foye and Miller for NOTHING

Yea Rubio better be the real deal and not just be a hype machine with all this trouble he is causing. It isn’t right that a teen have this much control over and NBA franchise and their future. With that said, Flynn is a pretty good consolation prize. If I was the Wolves i would trade Rubio’s rights for a good SG/SF if possible

Rubio can only re-enter the draft if he doesnt play professionally (anywhere in the world i think) this year.

He will go down in history as the only guy to do this. If I had a farm, I would bet it that this is the type of thing that will only happen once. Imagine the impact on the league if people started doing this regularly. The draft would lose almost all of its credibility, and there would be far fewer trades. Ricky Doooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnn’t!

What a stupid rule. How does that make any sense for the NBA? So if a guy does’nt like where he was drafted, he can just sit at home and do it again next year? That does’nt make any sense.

but try not to sound so smug about it, I just asked for a source. 20 years of watching ball, and I would have thought I would have heard of this before. I’m curious why more people don’t do it. If I was a second round pick, I might just train hard and come back next year and try and get that bigger gontract.

This Rubio sh*t is getting out of hand.

About Blake Griffin… It says he hurt his shoulder in the 3rd summer league game. Why did he play the next two games then? This injury can’t be too serious. I just think the Clippers want to rest him so he’s ready for training camp, preseason, etc.

Ya know. I would amost consider trading his rights to someone just to get rid of the headache. Give me a decent vet and a promising young player and maybe a pick and move on. He has been the most troubling draft pick in years.

I dont think thats true I think the rule on foreign players is the team that drafts them has their rights forever if i’m not mistaken.

It was just reported by ESPN. These people get paid to know and research rules. No offence but I think they are more credible than you.

    re-enter the draft,sit out for a year?are you crazy?

this guy have millionare offers to play basket.madrid, for example, spend about 200mill euro in 3 soccer players so 5 mill for ricky it´s not out of the cuestion.

ricky desperatly wants to go to nba next year, the problem is if he puts 2 mill of is own money, plus the minny money, still far away of the money madrid and barcelona offers dkv,a team who cant keep their second best prospet(pau ribas) cause they dont have money to match taus offer,so they are going to take the money,no matter who offers, and ricky are going to leave.

i understand ricky´s doubts cause if he stay in spain are going to sing a better contract than if he goes and without putting his own money on risk,

and last, let me make something clear,if he choose sit out for year and re-enter the draft(nonsense) he are going to have the 6 mill buyout again.so,what for?

    http://www.startribune.com/sports/gophers/51704327.html?elr=KArksi8cyaiUo8cyaiUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aULPQL7PQLanchO7DiUr

as i sad 3 days ago if ricky dont go to nba it´s cause he and minny cant put the same money that madrid or barcelona, not cause he dont want to go t minny or he thinks to re-enter.
