seniokasParticipantRoyce White is one of the big names although with a lot of contraversy in this years draft. I believe that most of you know about him but while he wasn’t playing for any of powerhouses or wasn’t as highly touted coming out of high school as others you may haven’t seen him ( just like I, I know about him not very little because of the posters in this forum, but I haven’t actually seen him playing ).
So, here TheMikeSchmitz video report about Royce White. I find it a very well made video which will help you make your mind about Royce White as a prospect. Personnaly, I think that he will go anywhere from 20 to 30 but it all will depend on the team’s which will draft him organisation. If he goes to a strong well organised system ala Spurs (I know it’s kinda the same and the same, as everyone uses Spurs as a example of exellent organisation but that is how it is) he can become a very very valuable role player because in my view he can be a ”good” tweener as he can possibly defend both 3’s and 4’s (I believe you have to be able to defend that position if you want to play in it) or he can be just another trouble-maker if he goes to a bad organisation, although sometimes even good people around you doesn’t help, but I do not believe that’s the case of White.
Side note, I actually think I’m pretty similiar to Royce White as a player.

SpacegrassParticipantAtmosphere back beat is good shit. I have him going to Denver , I think Karl is the perfect coach for him and runs a great system for Royce to show his skill set best.

fliptonnParticipantI like his game a lot but his FT shooting really bothers me. He’s a guy that could get to the line a lot at the next level using his size and handle but he likely wont convert often, this could hinder his confidence. Definitely see the potential though.

B-ball fanParticipantI think Royce White is a little overhyped. He is a poor defensive player who doesn’t really have a position at the next level and he struggles to make an impact without the ball in his hands. He is a very poor shooter and I don’t think he will finish great at the rim. He can rebound, pass, and score somewhat, but I don’t see NBA teams running the offense through him, and his lack of shooting ability will limit his ability to impact the game without the ball.

cabbycabParticipantI feel about Royce how I felt about Jared Dudley out of FSU. Even though Dudley didn’t wow anybody with his athletism in college, I always liked him and felt he would be a solid pro. I think Royce will have equal type of success in the right situation. I don’t see all-star potential though.

PulseGlazerParticipantRoyce on the Spurs would make me extremely happy. I could see him being a quite effective Pacer, too.
