Ohio State’s defense is on point. I think they’ll shut Oregon’s offense down, while Oregon’s defense isn’t that good. Pryor gets it done in the Rose Bowl.

oregon. Pac 10 is tougher. USC beat ohio st but got destroyed by oregon.

That’s not a good way to predict who’ll win though. Stanford beat USC, but lost to Cal who USC blew out. I also tend to think that OSU has the ability to stop Oregon’s run game, and they have the secondary to make plays against Oregon’s passing game.

Pryor does his thing, and the Buckeyes come out on top. If anyone hasn’t taken notice, Pryor has been lights out since the Purdue loss about a month and a half ago.

yeah, i’m just backing up my confernece. I don’t watch much football. But the rose bowl has been pretty lopsided the last few years and the pac 10 was the only conference to go undefeated in bowl games last year and the big 10 just seems overrated. But I’m basing most of that off bias and not really watching too many games.

You stop Oregon’s run then you would win.

Some of these predictions are way off. Ohio State has lost every single one of its big games ever since the Michigan-Ohio state game in 2006, to determine a spot in the BCS title game. They lost to UF in the NC, then to LSU in the NC, then to USC, then to PSU in the game to decide the big ten winner in 08, then to Texas in the Fiesta Bowl in 08, then to USC again this year. sure they beat PSU this year, but PSU had a down year and it did not determine the Big Ten winner since Iowa was in first. The only reason they beat Iowa was because Iowa was without their QB ricky stanzi. Oregon demolished CAL, as well as USC, beat Arizona in a must win game, and beat Oregon State in a Rose Bowl birth game. Ohio States offense is not very good, Oregon’s is top 5 in the country. Also, Jim Tressel is too conservative to beat a team like oregon that puts so many points on the board. Lastly, at the end of the game in a pressure situation, who would u rather have: the inconsistent, sophomore in Pryor or the consistent Junior in Masoli who runs a top 5 offense in the NCAA? Oregon 31 OSU 17.

Yea but they got to 3 BCS games….that’s tough to do.

I’m not saying there awful but I think Tressel will let TP run some more.

Not to say I am biased, but Oregon is going to destroy Ohio State in every way imaginable. I am going to be at the game, I am a Duck alum, and I have to say that as much as you guys want to say Pryor is a new man, or that Ohio State has this great defense, well, you must not watch our damn team than. We have been monumentally more impressive than Ohio State all year, we beat Purdue, we crushed USC and we won the Pac-10! This conference was stacked people, and the Big 10, I am sorry to say, was garbage. If Ohio State stops our run, I will be surprised as hell, and I would not sleep on our defense at all, as they are fast and probably will work pretty well at neutralizing Pryor. I know Pryor is a beast, believe me, I followed him, he was close to being a Duck, but he has nothing on Masoli when running the ball, and his arm has been inconsistent at best. Masoli has been on, the turnover against OSU was a fluke, and he is hella cool in the clutch, though in this game I doubt he will need to be. I am 2-0 in Bowl Games I have gone too, and if my win streak does not continue, I would be surprised as hell. GO DUCKS!!!!

Oregon. The Big 10 is a weak conference.

Oregon will run all over the Buckeyes.
