Does it bother anyone else that teams like the Clippers, Warriors or Kings don’t play their extremely talented rookies when their season is pretty much done? Why not prepare them for next season? DeAndre Jordan has been performing pretty good for his lack of minutes, I think Anthony Randolph is a good enough player to be getting good miuntes too. Then the Kings who have Donte Green, who could be a prolific scorer but he doesn’t play at all! What is up with this?

I Know, Right? I Think Those Rookies You Names Might Finally Start To Get Some Playing Time Though. And Rightfully So. Randolph Can Play, And Jordan Has Been Kind Of A Pleasant Surprise For The Clippers. And When Greene Finally Gets To Play He’ll Show The Kings Why They Traded For Him.

I see what you’re saying, but it could be somewhat of the same thing teams do in baseball. Teams don’t want to bring their stars up to the big leagues before they are ready because it can affect their mindset being so over-matched and will affect their long term development. So maybe they don’t feel like their games are quite ready to consistently play against the starters/early bench players.

They could just send them down to the D-League though so they can get some game experience…

they dont send them to the d leauge

because they dont want to seperate from the team when your in the d leauge u mov n become part of another team

they keep the rookies on the team to learn from nba vets

and to build chemistry with the team
plus u get better playing with the best so in practice they play against the starters

a real work out

mostly second round and undrafted players go to the d league

because they need serouis help with there developement

d leauge players might never b stars

and they should play the rookies esppicaly

in my opion the knicks dont need to go to the lottery

the lottery bring forth big draft contracts

and there tryna clear space up

this aint much of a talented draft this year anyway

I agree 100% they need to put in rookies I watch the teams to name in the Clippers the Warriors and the Kings they have great talent. The San Antonio Spurs are starting to play George Hill which is a true player he could grow up to be a Chris Paul Deron Williams in the future he could grow up to be a replacement of Tony Parker. Portland they have Batum from France outstanding player great shooter.

im not sure what u mean when you say replace parker…do you mean if he gets traded or when he gets old..because parker is only 4 years older than hill

I think teams some of the bottom feeders are starting to move in the direction of playing their youngsters. Green got some PT in a Kings game last week and Randolph is getting a little more PT now to. You have to think though with the way coaches are getting fired, if you are a coach of a bad squad and you havent been fired yet you want it to at least look like you are fighting to the very last game.

i think they dont want the media to say they are tanking the rest of the year. but i agree, randolph, deandre jordan, donte green, kevin love should play a lot more, javale mcgee should get some more time. there is a lot of potential there and if they got some minutes they could show that they can play some ball.

the reason is the coaches wanna keep there job so they try to win every game they can unless its understood that management wants a good draft pick…if they play the rookies at the end chances are they will lose but the rookies will prob get better but that doesnt help the coach if he gets fired you know…but if his job is already safe the coach can/will play rookies more often
