dmo21ParticipantNow that we mostly know which guys are playing where, who do you think will be in the running for rookie of the year, which isn’t always the best player, but the player that could get the most playing time and minutes on his team.
Wall- of course he is the front runner but will arenas and hinrich take away some of his thunder for his first year? I think those 2 guys may hurt his case to win roy.
Griffin- another front runner, we will see how he does with a pretty solid clippers team, may not have enough shots and rebounds for him with davis and kaman, but i think he will still do great.
Johnson- on a pretty bad wolves team, he will have many good chances to shoot and score the ball, as long as flynn and al dont hog the ball to much.
Udoh- Even though he isnt that great of a player there isnt much competition for center on the warriors, but he may be in the doghouse for a couple years..
Monroe- In the same situation as Udoh, but is a better player and his coach will actually like him. Those would be my top 5 rookies that will get the best chance to be the rookie of the year.

Lil B to GSWParticipantI wouldn’t count out Evan turner, I have him as better than wall this year because of arenas and hinrich taking some of walls assits, points and miniutes. But in 2-3 years wall is the man.

dmo21Participanti guess turner and iggy will probably handle most of the scoring for philly and he should rack up some assists too.
i agree with arenas and hinrich stunting wall’s growth for this season, but it will probably be a 3 man rotation at the guard spots with 2 of them always on the floor. They still will take away some points and assists from him.

Tyreke JohnsonParticipantCousins, Wall and Griffin are my picks with Turner right in the mix.
Demarcus Cousins- ideal place in Sacramento, he has Tyreke Evans who is an unselfish player but also very reliant to play with and with the style of offense the Kings run in the halfcourt setting can benefit Cousins greatly, it will allow him to work in the post and have tons of iso plays to beat his man out, he is also a solid rebounder that gets great positioning. Is my favorite to win ROY.
John Wall- has become the man in Washington, and has not even played a game there yet, with Sanders as the coach and with Wall being unanimously crowned lead PG of this team he can show off his game, he will get his teammates the ball with his play making ability and court vision, scoring easily in transition and taking his man off the dribble, will probably get to the foul line a lot when he penetrates and will set up his teammates with ease, he is going to be a good floor leader too.
Blake Griffin- tremendous athlete/player on a fringe playoff team, he can score in transition, is active around the basket, has great hands (no homo), great post game, high leaping ability, very energetic unselfish player and he can play off his teammates or his teammates will play off him, if his teammates play off of him this upcoming season expect him to make a hard case for him not to win.
Evan Turner- playing with Andre can work or cannot work, Andre has established being the man in Philadelphia and Turner does not have the personality to clash egos with him, that does not deny that Turner is a versatile player, he does not have to score to be effective, he can rack up the assists due to his play making ability and get rebounds and steals due to him being an active player on defense and on the boards. I do expect him to still get his points though, once he establishes himself as the go to guy on the team expect Andre to be on the trading block because I really cannot see with his ego to allow Turner to be the leader of the team which he could possibly be by mid to late next season.
