 Some interesting results in the recent NBA Rookie Survey.

Ben Simmons getting completely disresespcted by his peers in every category.

All the love is for Kris Dunn and Brandon Ingram.

Thon Maker, Dario Saric, Joel Embiid also snubbed.

What can be attribute this bias to….I wonder?

 I wouldn’t read that much into the survey.  In last year’s survey Okafor got 41% of the vote for rookie of the year.  I believe he ended up finishing 4th behind KAT, Porzingis, and Jokic.

 KAT was voted a distant 3rd in the same poll last season

And I doubt most Rookies even realize that Saric & Embiid are Rookies

personally I hope Ingram wins b/c I’m a Lakers fans but I would not be surprised if Dunn won b/c he’s older than Both Embiid & Saric who were both Drafted in 2014

It’s not biased. I feel that they don’t respect him after seeing him lay down at the end of the season. Most people felt that he didn’t attempt to play hard at the end of the season nor did he care if they went to the tournament or not. So they didn’t go. I’ve never really seen anything like what I saw with him at the end of season where you see a guy with all of this talent, and he’s not even trying to do anything on the court.

I’m hoping that he fulfills his promise and becomes the next great player, but his actions make you wonder and somewhat doubt it to an extentt.

 I don’t see how Simmons loses to be fair. He will get every oppurtunity to succeed.

 Side note: You see that picture posted of Lebron and Simmons standing next to eachother. Simmons is a big boy! Surround him with shooters and let him play point forward at the 4.
