 Reports are saying talks aren’t close because celtics want parsons as a rockets fan I hate this trade rondo is an upgrade at pg but parsons is essential to our offense and spreading the floor and only getting better. Future 1st rounders asik Lin and motejunas would be all I would give up for rondo

 You don’t get allstar caliber players without giving up good stuff. If the Rockets want an allstar in Rondo they are going to have to give up Parsons.

Gosh I hope the Rockets can make this happen.  I’ve always loved Rondo and have wanted him to play with an athletic big man his whole career.  Rondo and Howard would be awesome together…plus add Harden on the wing they could compete with anyone.  I like Parsons and think he is a solid player but if they had to get rid of him to get a great PG I would..

 I like Rondo but i don’t think he fits in with the rockets. Dwight howard needs to play with a point that can shoot for floor spacing and Rondo dominates the ball to much to play next to Harden. If lowery is leaving the raptors next year i think Rondo would play well with two young wings like Ross and Derozen who like to get up and down the court. and he would get Vlachoulis more easy baskets.

 I agree the fit isn’t ideal but look at the success he had playing with Paul Pierce.  Pierce and Harden’s need for the ball is similar.   Rondo’s already supposedly hinted that he wouldn’t resign with Toronto so I think they are out of the question…
