…He might not be in the top 5 of PGs but he is gettin his Assist thing onremeber i said it first!

He will probably end up averaging 13+ assist…

I don’t think it’s a good idea to predict what a player’s season average will be after 5 games. For all we know he could go 5 straight games without recording an assist at all. Will he? Probably not, but I bet he’ll slow down? I’m not discounting what he’s done so far, but it’s unrealistic to think that he’ll keep racking up assists like that.

Ive watch every game so far and i know its only been 5 games, but the offence has been tweaked a lil and its designed for Rondo to get players the ball in scoring position…the Celtics havnt been scoring unless the ball goes thru Rondo

    Is a top-5 pg dude…Also, I don’t see him averaging 13 apg. 11 apg seems reasonable, though.

Definitely deserves to be a candidate if can continues to play at close to the level he has in these 1st few games.

Awesome seeing two former UK PG’s doing so well in Rondo and Wall.  Bledsoe has played really well these last two games as well.  Hopefully he will continue to get consistent minutes.

IF Rondo could shoot, he’d be the best point guard in the NBA.

I am actually starting the Rondo for MVP bandwagon and if you actually watch the Celtics play this year and how Rondo is steering the offense.  It’s not unrealistic to think he could average 14 assists per game this year.  I know that seems crazy but Rondo is an abnormality himself by the way he plays the game and this Celtics team is loaded with options and they all feed off of him.

I am telling you if he keeps this up he will be in MVP discussions the same way Nash was the 2 years he won it.  He won’t score like Nash did but he will play better defense then Nash did and possibly average even more assists.

    Not a top-5 PG? You’re kidding me…

But really, Rondo could have had another 4-5 assists tonight if Garnett connected on the open jumpers Rondo was giving him. Crazy to think he only had 4 assists at the half and finished with 15.
